More Pain After Surgery 9/2/2008

I had a microdisectomy on my back done by doctor Ameri. I was in more pain after the surgery than before. During physical therapy I got shooting pains down my legs and kneck. I explained all this to him and he sent me for another MRI. Afterwards he tells me that there is nothing wrong with me and to go back to work fulltime. I worked on the Big Dig and he said to go back with no limits!! This doctor does not care about his patients and is rude and just wants to operate and get rid of people. The next surgeon that I saw asked why I was even operated on that disc !!!! I do not rcommend this doctor to anyone who values there health. You have been warned !! Pros: Stefani. I'm walking because of Dr. Ameri 2/4/2008

I went to see Dr. Ameri because my back went out and I could not walk. In fact, I had not walked for almost 2 months. I had tried Cortizone shots, physical therapy and nothing was helping. Dr. Ameri performed surgery on my back - outpatient - yes - I went with my husband pushing me in a wheelchair and I walked out that very same day! I haven't had any problems since! I would recommend Dr. Ameri to anyone! more

Not recomended 7/12/2007

I had anterior cervical discectomy from Dr Ameri almost a year ago and still suffer from pain. Cons: Not a freindly doctor an more
