i recently took my cat to the clinic because he was having some problems. He got treated for a uti and was put on medicine for almost a month. as soon as his treatment was over, he died in my arms. Thinking he was healthy again i went on about my days, then we said our last goodbyes. He was a young cat, never had anything wrong with him. Finding out through research, he was treated wrong and the uti then caused kidney infection and eventually caused heart problems. Now the cat lies in heaven painless. more

Best Vets on the Island 4/9/2010

Dr Jen and Dr Leslie and their staff are just wonderful. I walked into the clinic with a very sick pug. We thought he wouldn't even make it through the night. He was in renal failure and his lungs were filling with fluid. Dr. Jen took him in and by morning he was already doing better. Her and her staff said it was a miracle. 5 days later he was released. The care they gave him is the reason he is alive and thriving. Most vets would of put him down because he's 11 yrs old. This is the only place I would take my pet to. You won't regret using them. Even if I have to travel 3 states away I'd bring him back to them. She is the only vet I'll ever use. Pros: Saved my pugs life Cons: none more

Best Ever 1/22/2010

I have taken my dogs to Dr. Hicks for years now. He has been great. I have never been disappointed in his treatment of my animals or of me. He is conscientious and caring in everything he does. He has gone above and beyond on his off time to help me and my friends who have brought their dogs to him in am emergency situation. I would not have had some of my dogs as long as I did without their vet being Dr. Hicks. more
