Professional, friendly and resluts oriented 1/5/2011

I came to Ambrosia on a special for a set of 3 photo facials.Over the years, I have had several photo facials at various locations in the Seattle area and found that Bridgette gave me a far more personalized session than I had at other places. She was very thorough in her technique, concientious about my comfort level and then when finished with the initial treatment she readdressed problem areas to give me the most benefit I could get from the laser. She has a pleasant, cheerful attitude and aims to please. The results were hugely effective and beyond what I have had at other locations, (indicating to me that their equipment is current state of the art ) I had minimal swelling and discomfort and highly effective results. The facility is modern, clean, clinical and comfortable. Their regular prices are slightly more than I have paid in the past at other places but if you wait for their specials you will get a good value. My only disappontment is that my friend bought a 3 pack of services at the same time and was not able to switch to a different package when she was not satisfied with the results after the first treatment. For this reason I gave a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating. I have been so pleased with my treatments and the friendly atmosphere but what if I too had made the wrong choice ? more

Over the last several years I have used several spas for facials and laser services (Fotofacials) in the Seattle area and national travels. I can say with the utmost conviction that Ambrosia-Juanita Village, Kirkland is superior. The professional service, the exceptional quality and the dedication to customer service set in a relaxing peaceful atmosphere surpasses all others. more

Tsafrir Bloomfield - Laser Hair removal 12/16/2010

Tsafrir has been so wonderful with helping through my first Laser hair removal experience. She helped me understand the whole process and how our bodies hair cycles work along with how the machines work to give you the best results. She kept a close eye on me with each visit and made changes based on my specific needs. She is also an amazing lady and so fun! I always enjoy getting to visit with her. I would highly recommend Tsafrir for your next treatment. more

Pure Heaven 11/29/2010

I have to let you know how incredible my experience was at Ambrosia Med Spa yesterday. I felt transported for an hour while Diane pampered me with a delightful and relaxing facial. Everything from the music, to the soft lights, to the purple velvet blanket, to the amazing scents…it was delicious! I told Diane when she was finished that it must be what heaven will be like.\r \r Thank you for building such a wonderful spa and for hiring such talented people.\r more

I came to Ambrosia spa via two groupons I bought for laser hair removal. I am on my 4th treatment and have been pleased by the treatments so far as well as the staff. The spa made using the groupons very easy. Tsafrir has been doing my treatments and she has been very professional as well as knowledgeable as she has been able to answer all of my questions. Her approach is also gradual, making sure the client feels comfortable and is aware of this throughout the treatments. As a first-timer, I am very glad I came to Ambrosia. more

Ambrosia great for Men too! 11/18/2010

I'm yet another guy who wasn't so crazy about the process of getting older having rapidly increasing levels of body hair; specifically on my back. My wife didn't seem to mind, but I never felt confident about going shirtless at the beach/pool. Shaving and waxing were annoying processes; and usually resulted in ingrown hairs. I decided to look into laser hair removal after my wife saw an add for Amrosia on Groupon. They're prices were by far the most competitive, and I felt VERY confident with their personnel, facility, and certification. The hair removal process wasn't that bad at all. 6 visits, spaced 6-7 weeks apart. After the first 3 or 4 visits, I saw a DRAMATIC reduction in hair. After the 6th, its basically all gone. Best of all, my skin cleared up completely. No more ingrown hairs or break-outs. Bridget was my technician (although she's also the Spa Director). She was very thorough, professional, and always inquiring about my personal comfort. The spa itself was very clean and tidy, something I'm always looking for. I would definitely recommend this procedure to other guys (or girls) who aren't happy with excess body hair. Best money I ever spent. Life's too short to be bothered with something that's so easily fixed. My advice: Start the visits in the Fall so you'll be totally done by the following Summer. more

Amazing facial 11/5/2010

I had the best facial I have ever had this morning at Ambrosia Med Spa. Bridget welcomed me when I arrived and led me back to the room. The products she used were organic and smelled wonderfully (all fruit scents). This is the first facial I have had where the therapist didn't leave the room when the mask was applied. Instead, Bridget spent the time doing a neck and shoulder massage. She also did an ear/head massage. After the facial was over, she applied some mineral make up so I would have sun protection, if needed. She was informative and able to answer all my questions. I can't wait to go back, and have already scheduled my next appointment with her. more

Ambrosia Med Spa, what an awesome experience... 10/25/2010

I decided to try out Ambrosia Med Spa and I am so glad that I did. Diane was amazing and I can honestly say that it was the best microdermabrasion facial combo that I've ever had. I relaxed to nice music, she used wonderful products that smelled amazing and the results were fantastic! I was so happy with my treatment that I purchased a set of 3 more before I left the building. I also received multiple compliments about my skin throughout the day (even from another skin care professional). I am a regular now for sure. Thanks Diane! more

Superior Treatment & Experience 10/17/2010

With all of the budget and chain spa's opening up that offer inexpensive facials, I've forgotten what a truly amazing facial feels like. I received a microdermabrasion facial from Susie. Upon arrival, I was asked to fill out some forms similar to when you are a new customer to any facial or massage establishment (par for the course). I was greeted warmly (important to me). The spa is inviting and warm, although is not for people used to the Gene Juarez mega spa. You actually are the focus of attention. Given the name is ""med spa"", it is not at all 'clinical' feeling which is something I had wondered about. Susie took the time to talk to me about my skin and what I was hoping to achieve. The facial itself was amazing, the products did not irritate or make me break out days later, and the dermabrasion wasn't uncomfortable at all. My skin was literally GLOWING afterward. It got rid of all of the dullness I was showing which is common with women in my age group (40's). Susie took the time to quietly let me know each step she was taking (i.e. cleansing, mask, microderm) and her massaging was awesome. They have a great intro package that I purchased for my next treatments, but they don't do the hard sell. If you're looking for a high quality facial, this is it! I can't wait to go back. more

Best skincare clinic 10/10/2010

I love the gals here, they really care about giving you great results and will make sure that as a client you are and will continue to be completely satisfied. Bridgette is so knowledgeable and assured me that the laser treatment would give me the results I wanted even though other clinics did not want to risk it with my darker skin tone. I have seen great results with lightening of the sun spots and freckles as well as toning and firming of my skin. The facials are a wonderful treat too. I recommend you give them a try if you haven't, I believe you will be a satisfied client too. more

not a good experience for me... 10/10/2010

I booked an appointment for a consultation which was to take 30 minutes...I took off work to be there on time and after waiting 20 minutes was told it would be another 30 minutes before I was taken back. While sitting there no one came out to apologize or make conversation with me. I just sat and listened to the constant barking from the doggy spa next door. Since I had to get back to work, I choose to leave and still no apology or 'let's get you rescheduled'. I would not recommend this place or return for anything just on my first impression. more

Excellent Laser Treatments! 10/5/2010

I'm a big fan of this spa and the staff. I purchased Laser Hair Removal treatments for my underarms and the areas normally reserved for a Brazilian wax. While the treatment wasn't always pleasant because having a laser in certain sensitive areas just can't be all the time, the staff (especially Marcy) always went out of their way to make me as comfortable as possible. The entire treatment cycle took about a year and it was always a pleasure to walk into the office and get my treatments. I was a person that had very dark coarse hair and now the little hair that has grown back is MUCH lighter, finer and does not grow back as fast as it previously did. Of course we wish that 100% of the hair was gone, but in my case I am happy that 90% of it is gone and whats left is manageable now. Thanks a lot Ambrosia and staff. I am one happy customer! more

Love Ambrosia! 8/22/2010

I looked long and hard to find my perfect aesthetician - someone who really cares about her clients specific and special needs, as well as someone who understands how to care for skin that has been ravaged by extensive chemotherapy and radiation. I found Diane! I've been going to her for a couple years now, and am so grateful I found her! Well, she just started working at Ambrosia - and I have to say I really like it there. It's *quiet!* They don't have ""that"" music droning loudly; and it's so clean! Diane's standards are very high, so I knew it had to be good - what surprised me is that she said if she is not available in a pinch, she considers the other aestheticians at Ambrosia just as good as she is. In fact, she said they are the best aestheticians with whom she has ever worked. THAT is quite a compliment - but that's another thing I noticed: everyone who was there the day I received my service worked incredibly well together. Very professional, very personable and it's clear not only does customer care come first, but working together does, too. I don't know about you, but I can tell when there's harmony among the people who work together, and there obviously is. Quite honestly, I was afraid the prices might be too steep for me, but services are affordable, and there are even specials. Whew! I look forward to my next visit. more

Don't be afraid... 8/11/2010

Hello, I am what people would consider a metrosexual - a single straight man who has the means to pamper himself and cares about his appearance. After doing a lot of research about places to get laser hair removal - I chose Ambrosia! I had a wonderful experience with Bridget, she was extremely patient and willing to give me her honest opinion about what would look better on a man. My main goal was to reduce the thickness of my eyebrows but still look masculine. You'll be very surprised to find out how many guys are doing this, look around and you'll start to notice a lot of ""perfect"" eyebrows on guys - the trick is not to over-do-it.\r If you are a guy... don't be afraid, it's okay!\r We have to use every tool / trick available to impress the opposite side! more

Ambrosia Med Spa was wonderful. 8/8/2010

I had my very first facial at Ambrosia and it was heaven. After searching numerous places for brow tinting and waxing, I found Diane and have been with her ever since. She has been tinting and waxing my brows for the last two years and I've always been satisfied with her work. \r \r Diane is new to Ambrosia and she quickly let me know about all the wonderful services it has to offer. I decided to check it out and have Diane give me my first facial. \r \r She cleaned, moisturized, and pampered my face, neck, and shoulders as I relaxed and listened to the soft music playing in the background. It was very relaxing and I left feeling refreshed! As the following week progressed, I kept looking in the mirror and thinking something looked different, mid way through the week I realized it was my face. It was smooth and clear. The dark circles I normally have under my eyes had faded a little and I liked seeing that. I felt like my eyes popped a little more and my face glowed. \r \r Thank you Diane and Ambrosia for the wonderful treatment. I will return!\r \r \r more

Ambrosia Med Spa 8/6/2010

After reading many of the reviews for Ambrosia I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. Diane pampered and educated me on skincare while giving me an amazing Ambrosia Facial with Eminence (organic skincare line). My face looked and felt fantastic when she was finished. My boyfriend raved about how great my skin looked and felt. I understand Diane is fairly new to the spa but based on the previous reviews I think she is a great addition to the already wonderful staff at Ambrosia. I highly recommend a visit for a facial or any of their many superb services, I know I'll be going back! more

I'm so glad I tried it! 7/8/2010

For years I secretly envied the results others got from fillers and botox treatments. Recently I decided to overcome my hesitation and give it a try. Boy am I glad I did.\r The results are AMAZING! Deb is so nice and caring and she explains everything . I got Juvederm fillers which erased my nasolabial ""parentheses - YES!\r Then I got botox which has also done wonders for my look. I am getting lots more male attention and compliments from my friends and acquaintances!\r Thank You Deb and Ambrosia MedSpa! Pros: Great Results!,Calm,pleasing atmosphere! Cons: None. more
