Can not believe the comments I am reading. I am in the process of having my wedding done by AMA and could not be happier with the progress. For starters when I first met Alex and his staff at the Davie location they were nothing but professional. All my concerns were immediatley addresses. My groom and I hit a rough patch a few months ago when we lost his father. We had our Engagement shoot set up for that week. When I called to go over everything and see my options with the package I had purchased, They worked with me and rearranged some of the contents in my package to make sure I was not missing out. The photographers and staff created a Family friendly atmosphere, where the bride is the most important and priority. When my wedding wraps up on February 2nd of next month, I am confident I will be able to deliever the same message of overall satisfaction for this Company.\r more

This company didn't show up for our wedding!!!! They didn't call to cancel or answer our calls the day of. I'm warning you, do not use. No point in suing, they won't show up in court and you will get a summary judgement on a deadbeat owner who has no money and works check by check. client to client. Heard others didn't get their photos for over a year and they came out horrible. What a duo, husband and wife rip off. Don't let them ruin your wedding dreams, find someone reliable and someone that actually shows up. more

I cant believe the comments here are even real. I have been using AMA for decades, and they have delivered every single time. They are extremely professional and the quality and the prices are incomparable. They did my first wedding and my daughter's Bat Mitzvah, and they were great. One more time I called them to do my second wedding and they did an excellent job too. The only thing I find that might be uncomfortable for some, is the turn around time for the wedding albums, but it is because of the processes involved: the designs, the selections, ect, but is worth it. Besides that, the quality is superb, the photogs and employees are very nice and patient. They pay attention to every detail and don't miss a thing. I'm very happy with the results. I will recommend them every time I have an opportunity. Thank you AMA!!! more

This company failed to show up at a friends wedding. We also met another couple which it took them over a year to get their video and photos. The photos came out horrible and no talent was offered at all. Be careful and watch out. They completely ruined these weddings for both couples. more

You Have To Use Them, They are truly THE BEST!!!!!! We got married at Pier 66 and we went all out on flowers, decorations, and had a gorgeous gazebo done just for us like none I had ever seen. When it came to Photo and Video I wanted to make sure that the company that we hired wast the best so I asked a friend of mine and they had used AMA Photo and Video Productions .Then that weekend went to a bridal show and I saw this booth that had pictures and albums out of this world!!! Well I came to find out that it was AMA ,the same company my friend had used and I was going to call them that next week but once I found out it was them at the show I spoke to Danny , Alex and Erick and made an appointment for the following week. In between that appointment I had read some of the good and some of the bad reviews people had posted so I was a little concerned. Well, when I got to their office in Davie it really blew me and my Fiance away because this could not be the same folks that some of these people wrote negative reviews about because their office is as nice as they come and the way they treated us was very very professional. So I brought these concerns and I asked the owner Alex and from my experience , he was right. There are some folks that no matter what you do you will never please and their competition are haters and are writing bad things about them. He made me feel comfortable and even called three of his previous weekend brides and let me talk to them . They all raved about how Happy they were with their Photographer and Videographers so we booked them that evening. Let me tell you it was the best thing I ever did because My engagement pictures came out like if we were movie stars. The day of my Wedding Alex was my photographer and Erick was my Videographer and he even told my hair stylist how my hair would look the best. Also, we spent a lot of money on our decorations and flowers and they made sure to capture all those details plus more . The AMAZING!!!! pictures they took of both of us on the Pier top of Pier 66 were just out of this World. I highly recommend them to all my friends and who ever reads this make sure you go to their office and use them. them and my venue were the best!!! things of my wedding day. more

Alex, joel you guys have done it again your work is just amazing first my wedding and now my Daughters 15s i had my event in key west they did an amazing job they got there in the beginning got my daughers getting ready and then stayed to the very last min well let me start by saying that it was a very amazing event because they promise me that they will work with me on packages and deals and they did give me a great deal on both my wedding and then my daughers event for any one that gets married please look at AMA work they will work with you in many ways to try to focus on giving you a amazing event i thank them so much for all the work they have put in to it and all there attection on us and for following up with me on everything thank you alex and joel and to the AMA Staff... more

well i dont know about that because i had my event done 11/11/11 it was the most beautiful night of our life's Joel and alex did my event and made it really special that night for me and promised me that i will have a amazing night and thanks to AMA for making my wedding came out really special more

I heard from two friends that this company is all about setting the appointment, getting the money and then lights out. They are so nice in the beginning and then the service drops from that point on. I can't believe what they are doing, there are complaints about them everywhere, from the BBB, RIp OFF REPORT AND COMPLAINT BOARDS. This company should be shut down by the Florida Attorney General. They make you wait a year for photos or don't even show up for your event. That is F())(cking crazy. Shame on these people. If there are others, please make sure you state your complaint. more

I had a very nice experience with this company. Their prices are competitive, their quality is very good. They got to the wedding super early, very professional, both, the Photographer, Alex and Videographer, Erick were very nice, very patient. They took a lot of pictures, I got married in October and I already got my proof CD and put my order for the album. I?m very satisfied; I have seen their albums before: the friend that recommended them got hers and its beautiful, also her video. I?m sure mine is going to be amazing too. Thank you also to Alice, and Mary, in the office, returning my numerous calls; I know I was anxious to see my pictures, and I can tell you I?m very happy. more

We just got married at The Breakers and the level of attention that we got from our photographer Alex and our Videographer Joel was beyond our expectations. more

THIS COMPANY ALSO FAILED TO SHOW UP AT OUR WEDDING AND NEVER CALLED. I JUST HAPPENED TO LOOK TODAY AT REVIEWS AND WANTED TO JOIN IN TO MAKE SURE THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN TO PEOPLE. ALWAYS REVIEW THE CONTRACT, MAKE SURE YOU BENEFIT IF THEY DONT SHOW UP AS WELL. FLORIDA SCAMMERS IS RIGHT.... more

We paid everything up front and confirmed wedding date, signed contract and they never showed up. No calls, emails, messages, nothing. They ruined our wedding and we had to hire a photographer last minute for thousands of dollars more. Save yourselves. Husband and Wife team will ruin you too. Another bunch of Florida scammers more

Amazing Photos and Video!!! From the first time I went to the Studio and met with Mary , she made me feel comfortable and explained in detail everything I wanted to know about Photo and Video for my Wedding. They are all family and made me feel as if I was one of their family members. more

I did my pictures and video for my Wedding with them and they were great!!! I was referred to them by one of my friends who is also a police officer at my station . more

AMA studios is probably the most interesting and hardest working studio I have ever had the pleasure to work with. I have already been to 3 photographers here in miami and it just wasn't right. My agent had originally booked a simple studio shoot with AMA...there photographers were very, very patient with me but after one half hour he stopped shooting in the studio and decided to go to the beach to finish up the photo shot..when it was all over the pictures came out amazing, then they took me one step at a time into creating my album just like i wanted it. thank you ama for making my dream of a wedding come true more

I disagree with the complaints listed and this is an INCREDIBLE company because My Sister used AMA Video & Photos 4 years ago at Signature Gardens as well as I got married in January 2011 and used their services. My sister took a year an 1/2 to turn in her photo order form and they still had her big album within the 10-12 weeks they promised her and both her photos and video came out AMAZING!!! From the first time my sister took me to their studio on University DR. which is really nice and I Met with Alex one of their photographers who was not only very professional but did our engagement session and those pictures are amazing . I got married in January and received my proof book within 4 weeks later (which by the way it is really nice to have your proofs in a book instead of a cd) because they gave me that option. Unlike my sister I turned in my story book picture selection forms a month after and my story book was done within the 12 weeks they promised and it turned out GORGEOUS!! because they custom make them no one will have the same book. Like my sisters and mine are completly different . Also, I know I took my time which is my fault not theirs to give them the information/photos for the video because I went on a late honeymoon since I'm a teacher. I turned in the photos and information for the Video the last week of June and I just received my Video this past Friday (about 6 weeks later) and it is just BEAUTIFUL and made us relive the wedding again because they caught every detail, even funny things I didn't see happen that day. Just like my sister , myself , and many of our friends and family members that have used them, I will always refer them because of the quality and value they gave me and my family. more

My experience with this company has been a nightmare! I did not have the same good luck as other people that have posted good reviews. First of all, they gave me the wrong enlargement picture the day of my wedding. The pictures I chose for the sign in book were wrong as well. I called as soon as I came back from my honeymoon to see what went wrong and spoke to a lady named Alice that was extremely rude. It took 4 months for them to finally agree to fix the mistake with my sign in book pictures and enlargement picture. The next problem I had was with my wedding pictures... I spent $1,000 in uplights so the room could have a touch of a different color and you can't see that in the pictures. It looks like the pictures were taken outside on a bright sunny day. The pictures were not very detailed... I had one angled picture of my candy station and no pictures of my live band. My wedding was in October 2010 and I haven't received my enlargement picture, sign in book, or wedding video and pictures. I called to find out how much longer it would be and the reply I received was ""I don't know because we are really backed up"". That is completely unacceptable! I read my contract thoroughly and complied with the payment promptly. The contract said 8-12 weeks and it is way past the time stated on the contract. I have nothing against the company or the photographer... they were very nice to me before and during my wedding. Afterwards, they haven't been rude except for Alice but they have not been helpful or understanding. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!! more

I did my wedding pictures with them and I was very happy with my photos and video, also everyone was always very nice. They also did my sisters 15's and we have all been thrilled with how beautiful her photos are. She has recommended a bunch of her friends for their 15's, because they loved her big album and video. I read some of the negative reviews and just don't understand, because they have done several events for my family and some friends and the work has been great, they are super nice and pretty much work with you on everything you want. The people in the office are super nice. more
