Always Pretty Salon and Spa

I have been going to "Always Pretty Salon and Day Spa" for the past 2 years. And I have to say, I am always treated like a queen there. My 1/2 hr. massages I get from Carol are just awesome! She's the best! Plus I just started getting my nails done there with this new technique. It's called OPI Soak-off Gels. I just love it! No fake nails involved. It's a gel polish that's cooked under a lamp once applied to your nails. The polish does not chip until you take it off. My nails stay very strong and for two to three weeks later it looks like I just polished them. You've got to try this. Thanks Carol! more

I know you have all heard this before BUT I have to tell anyone and everyone who is considering getting permanent makeup, "what are you waiting for?" I just had my eyebrows done by Carol and all I can say is "I LOVE MY NEW EYEBROWS!! She made me feel calm and confident in her services, by making me apart of the process throughout the procedure. I am telling everyone Carol's work is superb and I will definitely be back! Carol, thanks for the freedom you have provided by giving me perfect eyebrows. No more pencil for me. What a day I had last Thursday! I was treated to a 1/2 hour hot rock massage by Carol, deluxe manicure and pedicure by Laura, and a much needed highlight and cut (makeover) by Bett! It was an awesome experience. Thank you all for your professionalism, a welcoming atmosphere, and, of course, a wonderful new look! The new hair-do was a hit at the formal reception for the Court the following evening. Thanks again! more

Whenever I have the chance to enjoy a treatment at Always Pretty, I heave a sigh of delight when I go through the doors. This place has that soothing quality of classically beautiful and tasteful decor, and staff who go out of their way to pamper people and meet their needs and wants. People will always ask if there's anything else they can do to make me or my family comfortable and happy, and I leave Always Pretty feeling prettier, healthier, and lighter on my feet. My daughters have had very professional haircuts from Bette, and I get to see lots of beautiful and contented clients after various kinds of hair, nail, and body-work from a number of the professionals at the spa. I've enjoyed Carol's magical work with her hot-rock treatment, and feel that the facials and eyebrow work are top-notch. When you have a manicure or pedicure at Always Pretty, you don't get some poor excuse for the entire treatment-- you get a lovely rub, attention to detail, lots of choices and guidance on color if you want it, and a friendly environment and people to boot! With every treatment I've enjoyed at Always Pretty, I see other people besides myself coming out with the feeling of having been pampered and cared for with professionalism and respect more

I called "Always Pretty" to set up a pedicure for myself and one of my girlfriends. The owner said we could come in for our pedicure and after reading all the good reviews online, I figured, "Wonderful! This place will be a great ‘spa’ to go to for nails". Unfortunately, "Always Pretty" needs to rename their "Salon and Spa" to, "Not So Pretty". This place was the absolutely the WORST place I have EVER been to. At first, the pedicure was going fine for me. As my friend was sitting waiting for a while for someone to start her nails, FINALLY a young, high school aged girl sat down and started the pedicure. Let me re-phrase by saying this was probably the FIRST and only pedicure this young girl has ever done. As we were sitting there, I could tell my friend was getting completely and utterly agitated and annoyed since this girl did not know what to do, what tools to use, or how to properly perform a pedicure. Meanwhile, the lady who was giving me my pedicure was finished with the “spa” aspect of it and was ready for nail polish as my friend was still sitting there while this girl was trying to figure out how to file nails. I can assume the owner could see how mad we were getting since she handed my friend a note saying, “Your pedicure is on the house. This girl is still new and she was the best I could get for last minute”. So… WHY didn’t they tell us in the beginning when we called that they were unable to take us for a pedicure??!?!? The owner would rather have allowed an outlandish experience than to lose two $35 pedicures for the day?? To top this off, we sat around for the owner to come paint our nails, because I guess this lady and the young girl were not properly trained to paint nails. Since we were sitting there watching the time pass, the lady I had for the pedicure was like, “Oh, I guess I’ll just do it”. A first grader who never painted nails could have painted my nails better. I’m talking messy, missing spots, no top coat… honestly, it looked like she took the nail polish, and let it drip onto my toes and then messed it around a little. The funny thing is, the owner came over and said my toes looked good as she cleaned up some of the mess on my toes. After the owner got up from the seat, I took the nail polish and re-coated my nails to look somewhat presentable. This experience was absolutely RIDUCULOUS and PATHETIC! I cannot reiterate how horrible and ludicrous this pedicure was!!!! It was a complete joke! Oh, and the best part… we were there for an HOUR AND FORTY MINUTES!!! What a waste of time! As I am still extremely annoyed and dumbfounded, I cannot comment about their other services. Although, seeing how this experience was, I would not doubt that the rest of their services are nothing to brag about. The owner really needs to re-evaluate her services and the people that perform them! more

I visited Always Pretty yesterday for the first time to get a manicure, pedicure, and hair cut. When I first walked in, Carol was very nice and introduced herself to me. I started off with a delightful pedicure from Erica, who was very nice and talkative. Bett then came over and introduced herself to me while I was getting my manicure and we discussed how I wanted my hair. I was very pleased with the staff, everyone was very nice and talkative. Unfortunately I was unable to check out the upstairs because I needed to leave, but I am sure it is just as nice as the downstairs. I will definitely be visiting again for another hair cut, Bett did a wonderful job! more

I had my first visit at the Always Pretty salon/spa and I left in the greatest mood! I first received a wonderful haircut and style by Bett. She really knows what she's doing! She is so nice and makes you feel as if you're a long lost friend! Then, I decided to pamper myself some more with a Wull-stone massage from Carol. The second I walked in the room I felt at ease. The massage was perfect and I felt my lower back pain and stress literally melt away! They've found a new customer in me and my friends and family that I raved to after leaving. Thank you so much! As someone who specializes in skin care, I sought out the services of Carol at Always Pretty. I have had many a chemical peel, facial, manicure and even permanent make up at her salon. She is very knowledgable about her peels and products. In addition, the salon is really clean, which is something I always look for. Carol is a sweet person and my last facial was so relaxing! I am really stressed out right now and I really needed the pampering that Carol gave me. Thanks so much Carol! My skin is glowing. more

I received the best, most professional, warm, and compassionate hot rocks massage in my life at Always Pretty. I felt virtually drugged by the end, my body and mind being more relaxed than they have felt in as long as I can remember. Carol (the owner and hot-rocks professional) has the most friendly and honest aura to her that lends a general inviting appeal to the spa. I would absolutely go again, knowing that I am not going to be ripped off or given any chinsy service, but only the best and most quality that i could expect. more

I am a licensed esthetician, and I visited Always Pretty for a facial. I was very happy with the service I received. The esthetician who performed the facial was knowledgable about products and as we discussed technique I was impressed with her motivation to continually expand her education and experience so that she is continually growing in skill. I left with my skin glowing and feeling relaxed and refreshed. I would highly recommend the signature facial to anyone looking to be pampered and rejuvenated. more

I went into Always Pretty to get my wife a gift certificate for her birthday. I was greeted by Carol, who couldn't have been a nicer or more knowledgable employee. She told me about the services she offers and what she thought my wife would enjoy. When my wife came back to the spa, Carol was excited to meet her and very friendly. She gave my wife excellent advice on how to clear up her acne, which hasn't returned since. My wife has been telling everyone about the great facial she recieved and that she couldn't wait to go back. There was no pressure to buy anything. Carol took the time to get to know my wife and answer her questions about her skin. Then she gave us several options as to what my wife could do. Excellent service. The spa was clean and beautiful inside. I'd recommend Always Pretty to anyone, in a heartbeat. If you're looking for something to pamper that special lady in your life, talk to Carol.
