Lucy is a miracle worker!! I made the classic mistake of buying a wedding dress 2 sizes too small and after 3 fittings it fits like a dream. You can't tell where it was let out/ adjusted and it looks wonderful. Lucy also put a bustle in the train as its about 3 ft long and it looks superb! She checked every time I went in to see what shoes i would be wearing to ensure the length would be perfect (no mean feat as I'm 6ft tall). She inserted cups to make the bust fit properly and she is pressing the dress for me so it will be perfect on the day. Her prices are so reasonable- bordering on cheap, especially for the quality of her work. I can't thank her enough for making my dress fit so perfectly, her work is just brilliant. She's a lovely lady and brilliant at what she does. I recommend her 100% and will take any future tailoring to her. more

Lucy can do seamstress work like no one else! I was very upset when a bridesmaid dress I ordered online came in so big, it slipped down past my hips when I zipped it up. After a week and a half (she doesn't charge rush fees!), Lucy fixed the dress so it fits like a dream. I was very concerned about the bust line on this sleeveless dress (it was poofy and complicated), but she sized it all perfectly! When I first tried it on, she did say the bra underneath was ""ugly"", (white bra under a black dress, it was the only strapless bar I own!) so instead she inserted cups, which are super comfortable (even for my D cups!) and now I don't have to worry about a bra showing! Her prices are beyond reasonable and she knows exactly what to do with any alteration issue you bring her. While they only accept cash, I consider that a tiny issue compared to the great quality alterations here. more
