The work this company does is fine, as far as I can tell. Where they earn such a poor rating is for the unprofessionalism and nastiness of the woman who handles their customer service.\r

As I'm writing this, ABQ is experiencing extreme amounts of rain, even for monsoon season. A lot of roofs are leaking, and this company is overbooked. I don't mind that - I understand how long it takes when you're normally a small company and because of freak conditions you get swamped.\r

But the woman who handles appointments and customer service doesn't return phone calls. She repeatedly mixes up appointments. She never apologizes for a mix-up or miscommunication. She makes appointments for you and then never tells you about them.\r

What prompted me to write this is that she apparently hired on some temp help, then left the girl to make calls to customers ALONE on a Friday night, with no training or experience, and apparently no knowledge of how to read an appointment book. The appointments were all screwed up, and the girl called to remind me of an appointment for the following Monday I'd never made, when I couldn't possibly get off work, and then couldn't find the appointments I HAD made. She could answer none of my questions, had no supervisor to help, and did not apologize or promise to call me back with more information. When I finally got the supervisor woman to call me (repeated attempts), she told me how horrible I was to her ""assistant"" (later caling her ""new, inexperienced, know-nothing""), how unprofessional. She never apologized, just lectured me about how many 100s of customers they have, how she's so stressed out, the girl doesn't know anything, and ""yeah right, like I'd be here at 6 o'clock on a Friday night."" But somehow it's okay to leave the new girl there by herself.\r

Chances are, you can find a roofer who can both fix your leak and not use their customers as punching bags.
Pros: Repairs are good.
Cons: Customer service is awful, don't show up when they say they will (hours late)
