Alum Creek RV & Marine

Terrible terrible customer service!!!! I rented an rv a while back, they kept my deposit accused me a basicly trashing there RV they also accused me of taking my dog on a week long camping trip even when we showed proof of the dog being boarded.They insist I showed up early @10am ( when we were promised 1pm) so right there they don't even have their facts straight, gee what else could they be wrong about????? more

Although we have lived in Florida for the past ten years we recently had an occasion to use the Alum Creek RV and Marine for repair of our boat. We loaned our boat to a neighbor, who unfortunately sank the boat. We had the boat towed and repaired by two dealers in Florida. The boat never ran correctly after either of the repairs. We continue to have a seasonal home in Ohio, and had used Alum Creek for other things. We contacted them regarding the problem, mostly to see if we should just scrap the boat, or if they thought they could salvage the boat. After speaking with the owner, Mike, we were impressed by his attention to detail and concern for our problem. So; we brought the boat from Florida to Alum Creek RV and Marine and we are glad we did. I have bought several campers and RVs over the years, but this was the first time from Alum Creek. I was treated like a life long friend, not a number. The sales person did not know the word pressure, she was more in tune with our needs than pushing us to a trailer. We got to go to the plant and see what they could do for us. I have had numerous dealings with Alum Creek RV and Marine. Everything has been positive. They offer great service as well as having a very well stocked parts department. This dealership had a fine selection of travel trailers that we were looking for. I would recommend this dealership highly to anyone. I bought a travel trailer from these guys, spent $16,000. i was told they do a complete inspection to make sure everything works, they even made me wait a week to pick it up so they could do so, i picked it up, rented a lot for a couple months and took off planning on do some camping with the family. we get there i set it up and the A.C. furnace and hot water doesnt work, some of the main reasons you buy a travel trailer right? i called them and they said bring it in and they would fix it and have it back to me the next weekend, well the next weekend came i called and they hadnt even looked at it yet. they put me on the back burner. a month later they still hadnt fixed it, im out a whole month lot rent at a lake camp ground (not exactly cheap) and lost a month of the summer, not to mention the gas to bring it back and forth. im going to pick it up and take it somewhere else. i figure most probably dont post these things so i am attempting to worn of a shady business and let everyone know about my experience, there are other places to buy rv's ,boats ect. i would try those other places more
