This past Saturday my car needed a full-detail, so I paid $99.99 for a FULL-detail. I have no problem paying honest people for honest work, but this is not the case at Baywash. When I returned 90 minutes after leaving my car, the seats were still filled with sand and the sticky spill on the back seat hadn't been touched once. When I expressed my disappointment, they sent the guys over to wipe the car down again, and I had to specifically ask for the leather treatment to be applied. I was almost OK with how they left it, and paid my $99 because I was told to come back on on Monday or Wednesday for the entire interior to be re-done. I would have stayed, but after 2.5 hours, I really needed to go. When I came back on Wednesday and asked for the interior to be done, the owner leaned into my car through the passenger window agressively and told me I 'only wanted something for free', and that the car was 'fine' when I left. I really tried to do the right thing by paying these people, but in hindsight, I should not have. The 'owner' Mario told me he had been in the business for 42 years, and that I got what I paid for. He did offer me the $25 wash and interior which actually got the car cleaner than it was originally for $99, but the solution they used left discoloration on the dash and in the door pockets. I have a 48k sticker price 2008 Audi (nothing fancy, just a reference point for other people of love their cars) that I take really good care of, and to be insulted as if I had never had my car washed before, or didn't know what to expect for $100 was really a first for me. I would have fought harder, but in the end they have the keys, and I just wanted to get out of the situation. They have signs all over that say 'satisfaction guaranteed', but really that means you'll be told you're wrong, that you want something for nothing, and that you got what you paid for in an intimidating manner until you get angry and want to leave. Please do not go to this car wash and expect anything good to come from it. They might do a nice job on the low-end, but when it comes to customer service, or actually conducting a full detail, they won't deliver. The people who work there seem really nice, but the owner is really not a pleasant person.
