Better Service than Dealership 5/20/2013

I recently relocated to Escondido from the LA area. I was under the Toyota Plan for Service when I went to the Escondido Dealership twice. Both times I was sorely disappointed with their attitude with customer service. I went to Alternative Automotive on my sister's recommendation and was very impressed with their friendliness and get-done attitude. I was only there about 45 minutes for a 10K checkup and service. I would highly recommend Alternative Automotive over the dealership, especially on pricing (even with dealership coupons) and time spent waiting for service to be completed. more

Honest, quick, cost effective, friendly 4/18/2013

After taking my Lexus to the dealer and paying A LOT for an oil change, I tried Alternative Auto this week. Steve advised that I needed a new water pump - and that I should try the dealer as it might still be under warranty (2006 car), which it was. Saved me $1000+. more
