Alternative Education Programs, operated by the Sheboygan Area School District, offers various alternative programs for students in the district of Sheboygan. It offers the Sheboygan Transition through Reintegration and Involvement in Vocational Education (STRIVE) alternative program serves emotionally disturbed adolescents in grades 6 through 12. It provides the Alternative Work, Academic and Vocational Education program to at-risk students in grades 10 through 12 and designed to increase the number of teenage graduates and reduce the number of dropouts. Its other program, known as the Teen-Age Parent Program (TAPP), provides services to school-age pregnant young women residing within the Sheboygan Area School District.
