Alterations Inc

The seamstresses here are just incredible. I was a bit nervous about my dress because I bought it at a great consignment store at a great price. However, I wanted to make a lot of changes and wasn't sure they could be done. They were so patient with me and spent the time to discuss every tiny detail. Even when I changed my mind several time, they just kept rolling with the punches. I really felt like they truly wanted to make sure this was a special experience for me. They made me feel special. I did have many things changed on my dress, made into a sweatheart neckline, let out the chest area and take in the hips to be more form fitting, hemmed and added some bling (beading). They also made a bolero jacket for me and they helped me design a custom veil. Everything came out better than I could have imagined. It was just what I invisioned. Alterations Inc are a dream for a Bride. They are very knowledgeable on bridal gowns they put me at ease and took the stress out of getting my dress right for my wedding. I purchased my wedding dress online and it didn't fit like I was expecting. It was smaller than the measurement chart that I used to order from. Of course online there are no refunds!!! So I tried to diet to get into my dress. I did lose but not enough. I went to several alterations shops but they didn't seem like they wanted to work on my dress. I found Alterations Inc from a friend at work and she said they did a great job on her entire wedding party. So I thought I would give them a try. Low and behold she was right. They were able to make my dress bigger and fit me perfectly. And even better you couldn't even tell it was altered. Thanks so very much!!!! more

I have been going to Alterations Inc for over 10 years. They have ALWAYS done and fabulous job from minor to difficult and intricate alterations. Good prices and excellent seamstresses that I understand have been there over 10 years. Must be a good work environment to keep employees for that long. I guess that is why the excellent work is so consistent. more

I had received a surprise gift on our wedding anniversary - it was a wonderful gown I had seen in a mall but did not buy as I felt it was too expensive. I was excited to find that in my wardrobe on our special day. However when I wore it that evening, I was ure it needed some alterations. On hearing from people, I took itto Bulan's and they understood what needed to be done - took my measurements and asked me to come back after a week. Lo !! they had done an extremely good job in making it fit exactly as I wanted. A bit expensive though !! more

I have been taking my clothes to Suzi at Alterations Inc. for years. She also did my wedding dress. She does a superb job and does it quickly! She worked with me to get my bustle exactly as I wanted it and she has great attention to detail. I highly recommend her for quality alterations. Good prices, too. more
