I took my Yardman Model 12A-979L401 in because the self-propelled operation wasn't working. They took it apart and told me it would cost $220 to repair (it only cost $250 new!) I told them it didn't make sense and I would pick up the mower.
I got it back, with the hubcaps in a plastic bag. Not a big deal. What IS a big deal is that they took a lot of it apart to see how many parts they could charge me for, and when I went to start it today, it won't start. They took the dead-man cable off and NEVER PUT IT BACK ON!
I called to alert them to this and of course I received the ""Bring it back in and we'll put it back"".
At 52 years old, putting this large mower in my trunk is not easy. Nor should I have to... IF they didn't just undo the cables and put them back, just like they were when I brought it to them.
First time using them... and the last!
Pros: Can't think of one
Cons: VERY expensive, Gives you back your equipment in worse shape
