I'll be honest - I am usually a huge fan of thin-crust pizza and garlic, but the three times I've had it here at Al's, there was WAY too much garlic, overwhelming every other taste. Fortunately, the thick-crust Sicilian-style pizza is perfect. The crust is indeed thick, but not heavy or doughy -- instead light and flavorful with a nice crunch. The marinara is chunky with pieces of tomatoes and fresh herbs and the toppings are all classics like meatball, pepperoni, mushroom, etc. These Sicilians are also enormous - a large could feed 4 hungry guys easily. On a side note, we've also found the service to be consistently excellent, with immediate refills on our beverages and a bright friendly attitude.
