I went to Al's on a whim; it was the first time I went in there, and I was pleasantly surprised. It isn't the most organized record store I have been to, but it had a wide selection and I found four albums that I have been looking for for AGES, and the prices were all fair.
The store is packed full of other things like video games and other types of music media, but I spent 2 hours just browsing their vinyl selection and had a great time!
The gentleman who worked there was awesome, and in the end I came up to the register with $140 worth of merchandise because of his help. I asked (jokingly) if he would be willing to give me a discount for spending so much expecting him to laugh or scoff at me for asking, but he replied with ""Sure! I'll see what I can do,"" and threw in a bunch of the 45's up for free - saved me about $25!
I will absolutely be returning there, recommending them, and probably be spending much more there because of that guy. I would absolutely advise checking it out if you are in or from the area!
