None Better in Chapel Hill 7/29/2007

I'm a longtime customer of Al's Garage, but two experiences lately lead me to write this review. They did a routine service on my '97 Nissan pickup, and it now runs like a top. I was frankly surprised at the improvement. Just this week, they did a standard brake service on my '02 Honda Accord. The brakes on this car had always bugged me since it was new because they pulsed slightly. After replacement at Al's (the first service I had had on the brakes since buying the car), the brakes no longer pulse. It's remarkable that in all the years I've been going there, I've never had to go back to complain about something not done well. When it's fixed there, you can count on it. Way too expensive for an oil change 4/16/2006

I went to Al's Garage for an oil change and was disappointed with the service and the price. For an oil change ONLY (no extras, nothing else) I was charged $40!! The staff was pretty friendly, but they didn't even put a sticker on my car for when I should have my next oil change. Don't come here unless you really have no other option. more
