I haven't had Sushi since I left my Southern Tejas(San Anto) home. So as you might imagine, I was really looking forward to some good stuff. I'd searched Sushi restaurants in this frozen wasteland and only found one pure sushi(Non-Chinese buffet) place.
In my experience, buffet Sushi is almost always of the most questionable quality at best.
I visited AT&S early Friday afternoon. The restaurant is small(20 seats or so, spread among a few tables and seats at the bar), which was fine with me... It was slightly reminiscent of the street side noodle stand in Blade Runner.
I was greeted and served quickly. The Menu had a large selection of sushi and other items. The Misou soup was good-not too salty. I ordered Spicy crunchy Tuna, Alaska, and Dragon Rolls. When the Sushi was served , it was well presented, light and tasted great! Easily as good as what I am used to back home.
This place has made Michigan a little less difficult to for me to live in.
Thanx !
Pros: Great food , quick and courteous service
Cons: none!
