My family and I use to go there and I was asked to write a review about the school. It is pretty nice. Never had anything bad happen. Alot nicer then the schools in El Cajon. the directors and staff have been there for years. They advertise that they are all fingerprinted and background checked. They are really nice to the kids. I love the cameras that let you check up on the kids. I don't think they have men working there anymore but they use to. My boy loved that. The only negative thing is the owner being rude but she moved away after she got married last summer. She was a young girl and must have money. All childcare is expensive in this area. However that and the parking is the only down side to it. Many customers have been there for years and love the staff. I have only been there for a couple of months but my sister has gone there for years...I have seen both of my nieces go there since they where toddlers and preschoolers. They just love the staff. The teach sign language and have are the only facilty to have a multiculture staff and male employees who make the place feel safe! Plus the older kids get to go on feild trips everyday in the summer. They love it! Pros: Great Teachers, work with parents Cons: Parking and cost more

Alpine Tendercare is unsafe and dangerous for children. While there are a handful of teachers that actually care about children, the owner could care less about the safety and welfare of the kids, as she is only interested in making money. This center has had numerous complaints filed with the licensing board. They have been cited and fined for too many children in a room, not abiding by the required child-teacher ratios, having a 15-year-old watch the children WITHOUT a licensed adult in the room, serving expired food and expired formula to infants, and improper refridgeration in the infant room, just to name a few. But don't take my word for it...do the research yourself and call the licensing board. If you care about the safety of your child, you will not leave them at this center. It is a shame they are still allowed to operate. Cons: You name it! more
