I always want to be excited about Alpine Steakhouse. It has the potential to be exciting.. locally owned, independent, sets its own menu, yet somehow it seems to blend in with the chains in the surrounding area. Alpine Steakhouse offers you a choice of steaks, burgers, fish, etc. like many of the national chains. Their salads tend to be inconsistent, relying only on iceberg with a sliced tomato or two to do the trick. They really have nothing on their menu that seems to be a signature dish, nothing you can't get somewhere else. Their service is inconsistent, sometimes fantastic, sometimes terrible. All in all, if you want the chain experience without the wait., they do offer call ahead seating!
