Putt Putt Golf 8/14/2006

Over the weekend, I visited my brother, his girlfriend, and my nieces. We went putt putt golfing at the golf center on Alpine, near the Red Hot Inn. The prices were decent, at $4 per adult, and $3 per child. The course is outdated, having never been updated once it was built. The obstacles consist of empty cement holes as "ponds", and metal sculptures such as a rocket, a wind mill, etc. The major money maker at this putt putt course is the driving range. I did not use this, so I don't know what the prices are like, but it had plenty of people on the range. Overall, it's not a bad place, but they could definitely use an upgrade. more

Classic Mini golf 9/7/2005

ALpine Miniature Golf & Range is located just north of Grand Rapids. It is an older Miniature Golf course and has all the older classic holes - the windmill, rocks in front of the holes etc...It is a very basic course, but it is fun none the less. You wont find any super exciting holes / activities, but it is fun for a quick game of Mini golf and the price is right....Much cheaper than other mini golf places in the area....there is also a driving range w/ feet markers so you know how far you hit the ball. Again, it is an older business, but a fun & cheap afternoon outing more
