Our floors had to be completely redone by someone else, after the mess this guy left us with upon moving into our first home. The floors were sloppy and looked horrendous after he "sanded/refinished" them, and then he conveniently disappeared. What a nightmare! Boards he replaced cracked and raised up right away, the stain was applied in such a terrible manner that every room had dark streaks and puddles along the periphery, and the seams between every board in the house crumbled and were eyesores within less than 6 months. The floors looked AMAZING ((BEFORE)) he refinished them, compared to the garbage work he left us with. It was nothing less than heartbreaking to begin our new homeownership that way, having shelled out so much $$ for someone to ultimately just ruin our floors. He stopped answering all phone calls after he didn't show up when he was supposed to "fix" the problems. We were absolutely devastated. more
