Great Tea Parties for your Princess! 4/16/2006

Alpen Rose has excellent gourmet cakes for special occasions. There is no one else in this city that even compares to their wonderful cakes. The turtle cake and strawberries and cream are both are favorites. The restaurant also offers children’s tea parties in the summer that are precious. They come complete with a princess and story. more

Great desserts for special occasions at Alpen Rose! 4/12/2006

If you need a great tasting and beautiful dessert for a shower, I highly recommend going to Alpen Rose. I typically order the English trifle which is a cake with a very light frosting that is covered with fruit--strawberries, kiwi, mandarin oranges, etc. It is just sooo good and has a light/refreshing taste..which I like. Also, their Sunday brunch is the best in town...a little pricey but worth it! more

Wonderful little shop... 8/2/2005

Alpen Rose has THE best pastires... They of course use only the finest ingredients (like real butter) and boy does it make a difference. Their lunches are a little pricey comparatively speaking, however the services, atmosphere and TASTE make up for it. I would recommend just stopping in, if only for a pastry and a cup of Starbucks coffee in the Cafe. more
