I had my wedding there and will always remember it. The hotel looks modern but their banquet room looks very sheek. The food is good and the hotel does allow you to bring your own...

Worst

This was a bust. its an old hotel so i didnt expect much but i didnt think it was going to be this bad. Wouldn't go there again. Pros: Nice view Cons: Old

Ok! 1/4/2010

I was not going to book my wedding block here. Because on the outside this place looked pretty bad. But then my block at the Westin, across the parking lot was full and the hotel was literally totally sold out and I was near a breakdown and I no longer had a choice, if my guests were to be able to not have to drink and drive from my wedding reception. So this was it. Upon my guests coming here though I got quite a few that told me it really wasn't as bad as they had thought it was going to be based on the reviews. (The most recent ones seemed to be in the summer of 09 and my wedding was in the mid fall of 2009). I think that it had been remodeled since the reviews. And the week of the wedding I came in and checked out the rooms too with my friends and yes they looked better than the pictures showed. So yes it was better than we thought. Good job. And they matched the parking rates for the Westin and had lower rates for the rooms than the Westin (would hope so since the rooms were not quite as nice!) Thank goodness Clarion! more

okay 10/3/2006

This is another one of the older hotels in this area and it looks it too. The exterior of the hotel is a bit runned down and needs a face lift. The inside however still looks very nice but kinda outdated. I have never stayed here but have attended a few receptions. The food was okay. more

Clarion 9/22/2005

I don't really care too much for this hotel. I attanded a friends party here and nothing was really too ipressive. Everything was really average. The service was not great, but they were not rude either. Nothing was special about the food either. It didn't taste bad, but it really could have been made at home. I really did not like the ballroom that we were in. I don't like the covered chair look, it looked cheesy. But this hotel is a little less expensive than the others. more

Clarion Hotel 9/8/2005

I was not too impressed with the Clarion Hotel. I attended a cousin's graduation party in the ballroom. I was old and dingy and not at all what I expected from a hotel. they did use chair covers whch made the room look even more cheesy. The food was not that great either. We had dry chicken with sloppy mashed potatoes and undercooked veggies. The parking was free though which was the only bright spot of the night. Not really an impressive place. more

Clarion Hotel 7/19/2005

I attended a formal engagement party at this hotel. I wasn't really impressed with the look of he ballroom. It looked very chessy and cheap. Not at all like some of teh other hotels. The food was ok and the service could hae been better. However the price per plate of this hotel is less than lets say Marriott or Hyatt, but the quality isn't comparable. I guess you get what you pay for. more
