Almost Home Bed & Biscuit - K9 Boarding

They were nice enough on the phone but when I picked up my dog I had several things that I saw as a problem. The pick up times were sort of strange and when I did arrive during designated time, I was locked out of their gate and had to wait quite sometime to be let in. The bone I left for my dog two days prior still sat on their desk when I picked her up. Upon arriving home, I found that my dogs paw had been injured somehow and had a large sore on the top of it. Plus she absolutely stunk as if she was laying in her own waste. I would not recommend this place to anyone! more

I WILL NEVER BRING MY DOG TO ALMOST HOME BED AND BISCUIT AGAIN! The owner's husband was the most unprofessional I have ever seen anyone be. When dropping off my dog I was told that I was not allowed to walk him back into the kennel area. Was told to pick up my dog by 7 on Sunday by the owner. When I called to say I would be there to pick him up at 4 I was told pick up hours were from 5-7....to come at 5. I explained that I had driven from an hour away and asked politely if it would be o.k. if I came early....keeping in mind that I was not informed of a two hour window when I dropped him off. He very rudely complied, and hung up on me. When I arrived to pick up my dog, he would not even go back and get him out of the kennel. I was told to ""get him myself."" On my way back towards my car he opened the back door of his house and yelled at me to, ""take my dog and get the f**k outta here."" I was so shocked that I did not reply and hurried of to my car. This is no joke....this really happened. Nothing that I did gave this man the right to talk to me that way. I just don't understand how a place like this stays in business and I'm certainly not comfortable leaving my dog with a man who acts this irrational. I WILL NEVER TAKE MY DOG HERE AGAIN, and I will tell my many friends and family who also have dogs the same. more
