Alma is expensive but worth every penny. The education is top-notch with small class sizes and many opportunities for student research. The campus is small and close knit (about 1300 students most of whom live on campus). The profs are well respected in their fields and usually get to know their students personally. If you are looking for a place where you can get lost in the mix and party all the time Alma is not for you. The academics are hard but well worth your effort. Tip: When entering as a freshman try to stay on campus (not go home) for a least 3 months.
