Allure Window Treatments

Hello, I most definitely do not recommend Allure window treatments to any of my friends or family members. Their prices are based on how your house looks from the inside and outside because two different customers can get two different prices on exactly the same product. Not only have I paid double for what it should have I was also misguided on the materials that I was getting. Unfortunately I had to learn my lesson the hard way. I was told the shutters I ordered were made out of the real wood... Well, 4 months later, thanks to my friend, I found out that they are made out of the fake wood. When Allure got to my house to install the product, it turned out that they have ordered the wrong shutters. 2 weeks later, finally the ""RIGHT"" product arrived. Yet the shutters were still much smaller than my window frames, so I ended up with a 2 inch gap on every side which was then caulked and explained to me that that is how it is supposed to be. This is not fair to any customer and this is very poor business practice. I have read the reviews and I think that most of them are about as real as the “WOOD” shutters I got. Please do your homework before you commit to any company and especially this one, otherwise you will end up in my shoes. more

Allure installed an auto Sunsetter Awning over our deck that we absolutely love. We were very uncomfortable in taking the measurements for this awning ourselves since it had to be roof mounted. This was no problem for Allure...the owner came to our home on time, was extremely professional and very knowledgeable about the product. The choices of material & colors were explained to us in detail. Our awning was custom made and arrived on the date we were told. Allure's team installed the awning and our sun drenched deck is now a beautiful area we can enjoy. Thanks Allure and we would highly recommend you! more

We desperately needed new curtains to replace the ugly vertical blinds when we bought our condo. I found Allure online, read the reviews and called to make an appointment. Sigita worked around our odd schedule to find a time to come by - she brought tons of samples and let us find our favorites without trying to push anything on us. She was upfront with the pricing and helped us find a cheaper fabric when we realized one was $$$$. Don't get me wrong - the drapes were still expensive, but at least the cost included hardware & installation unlike other places, and we knew they would be pricey due to our high ceilings. Sigita kept us apprised of the status (one of our fabrics was backordered) and arranged installation as soon as they were done. Installation took longer than I expected but the work is outstanding and they were meticulous in ensuring everything was level and perfect. They also made sure to protect our floor & furniture and clean up afterwards. I will use them again if we buy another place. more

Allure was recommended to us by a relative whose window treatments are gorgeous!.. We weren't sure what to do with windows in our apartment --very modern building but we were looking for a ""soft"" look. Sigita walked in and knew exactly what would work best. Installation was meticulous (and prompt!). Sigita coordinated everything and made sure we were totally satisfied. They are absolutely gorgeous--would recommend Allure to anyone looking for the best! more

After looking at Home Depot and Lowe's to get blinds in my new apartment on a budget, I decided to try Allure. Their quotes were actually less for me, which was surprising. And the blinds look really good. Since I have very tall windows (98"") that were three different sizes (oh the joys of living in a former warehouse or something) they would've had to be custom ordered. But they came to my house, recommended a few colors, gave me a few prices which, as I said, were very competitive. installation took no time at all. In fact, the products themselves got here a week earlier than they said they would. So overall, I'm impressed. more

Working with ALLURE on my window treatments was such a great experience - it was almost weird. Cause the way they work is the way its SUPPOSED to be: you need something, you call the company that does it, they come in, explain everything to you, educate you about the subject, give you several choices and options - without EVER pressuring you one way or another. You take your time, make your decision, call them - and they show up ON TIME, do EXACTLY what they said they would do - without suddenly inventing new hidden costs or finding problems they didn't see beforehand - and its done, and done quickly, and done RIGHT. And then its all over and you have your life back - and they didn't turn your house upside down while they were working, they didn't break anything, didn't invade your privacy - its just a good, solid, no-hassle experience. And the windows look terrific. Designer knew what he was talking about. Good advice about color-coordination. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking shutters, drapes or any sort of window treatments. I had some mini and wood blinds installed at my place by Allure Window Treatments, \r \r After 4 months one of my wood blinds broke, it took them 1 day to send someone to pick it up, and I had a new blind up in 8 days, no charge no hassle, and they are all working great.\r I highly recomend them!!!\r \r \r \r more

What a wonderful experience! Normally household services and products are such a hassle-this was the easiest experience! Owner came to our home, measured properly, gave us a GREAT price without us even haggling, came back on time to install. cleaned up when finished. just awesome. Pros: service, price, everything. Didn't have time to shop around like normal, I got the post card in the mail and called, I made him come at 8, cute designer, he walked me through everything, I didn't mind ha ha, ended up going with solar shades, super chic, $ on point, took about a week for the order, now I can see out and nobody can see in Pros: cute designer, good price more

I was shopping around for a while and by chance I came across horizon interior cause my friend used them for her place in new york city...apparently they just opened up in philadelphia...I wanted a new look for the holiday season...I'm hosting a few parties this year...I gave them a call and made an appointment for the next day after work at 7pm...the salesman came with a large variety of options and help me pick the best look...he wan't pushy and the price was very fair despite all my add-ons...he took some measurements and it was done...simple and hassle free...installation day came two weeks later and even the salesman came back to make sure everything ran smoothly...the finish product was modren classic just like I wanted...and all my thanksgiving guest complimented me for finally having an adult sence of style...I have to say compared to the other places I looked into...these people know what their doing Pros: came to my house when I wanted,variety,knowledge,customer service,fair price Cons: they don't have a showroom yet more
