Allure Salon & Spa

I guess I'll never know. Went to book an appointment online. They had open spots all day. It took less than a 60 second drive to get there and she said everyone was booked. I said, ""how can that be? I just looked literally three minutes ago. If I would've booked an appointment for spot right now or the one 10 minutes from now, I'd have just been SOL?"" Her response was, ""Well, they would have known."" She changed the status of appointment while I was standing right in front of her. Yeah, I call BS. Too bad they don't want customers. Typical island business. It makes me sad that this is the kind of nonsense people just get used to here. more

I have been going here for about a year & place is so great! Always clean & never ever rude. Carolyn is my stylist & blows my mind every time I get my hair done! She always knows the newest techniques & styles. Carolyn even knows some of the underground trends passing it on to her clients, who get to be some of the first to end up with the newest hair fashions =) In fact I went in just this week for an awesome hair cut & got to have feathers weaved into my hair!!! I didn't even know or think such a thing could be done! It's a fun way to add color to my hair without dye. So many people have told me they love it <3 I'm taking my daughter in to get some too. Carolyn is great with kids as well. She always makes my daughter feel so special when she gets her hair cut. We are always treated with respect here & find ourselves laughing the whole time! I never knew getting my hair cut could be so fun! I will never go to another stylist again! I also love that they offer everything from mild to wild. I can always mix it up =) They offer other great things too like massages, facials, & waxing. One stop shop here. Go & see for yourself & the truth. Good prices too. It's nice to walkout of this salon feeling good & looking great & not be in tears with messed up hair like I have with other salons. Thank you Carolyn & Allure! more
