Highly recommend these moving firm! 12/1/2011

I wish to thank you for the wonderful support Allstate Van Lines ship to our move the 2011 weekend. The crew was phenomenal -- friendly, hardworking and professional. They did a fantastic job packing up lots of plastic bins and boxes, a huge selection of plastic bags of clothing along with car seats and strollers, within an organized fashion making the transition to the new location easier. I am unable to even imagine the way we could have done it without their support and yours. more

From the very first contact with Allstate Van Lines, I was astounded by their helpfulness, honesty and great customer service. Patiently, they talked me through my move, about what I needed what my concerns were and reassured me that it would go smoothly... Also it did. The movers were extremely competent, quite efficient and made it happen all with good spirit. I knew that I could trust them with my things; while my belongings might not be super valuable, they are mine - they arrived at my new place in the exact condition that they were in before being moved. With excellent customer care and prompt professional movers I felt that it's all taken care off. Recommend highly these movers! 11/1/2011

I moved my business in Norfolk to a new location. I had many valuables that were very high priced including paintings, sculptures and numerous pieces of art that were irreplaceable. I had learned about Allstate Van Lines and decided to call them to obtain an estimate. I was greeted with a very courteous sales representative, who reassured me of Allstate Van Lines excellent degree of service, as I was very nervous with all the expensive items I had to maneuver. Every piece was moved without even a scratch on it. The movers knew just how to wrap and pack each item. They were the greatest bunch of guys, and turned what could have been a very stressful experience, into among the best moving experiences. I will unquestionably be using them again for any future moves, and will highly recommend them. more

Great Moving Firm! 10/26/2011

I did a lot of online investigation into well-rated Norfolk moving companies and called a number of movers for quotes. Allstate Van Lines provided the best hourly rate, and that i decided to go with them. The 3 movers were promptly, very professional, and incredibly helpful. They completed my move to a new studio in lust a couple of hours, and everything arrived within fine condition. The fee at the end of the move was as agreed upon, although there were a couple additional $10 charges for shrink-wrap for the couch and a bag for the chair. Overall, Allstate Van Lines made moving day manageable. Five stars and that i would definitely recommend them. more

Reliable and very affordable 10/23/2011

It was my first move, so naturally I have lot and lots of questions, and many types of were answered patiently by the very patient Christi who won my company with the professionalism. Every little detail she provided and my husband when we conference called concerning the hourly price and extra cost of supplies, was a big help on the road day. We were packed and ready for that movers, and had an easy, surprise free move. Well, no bad surprises anyway. There were nice ones: they provided an arrival window of 8:000-10:00am, and arrived on 8:05. Which was a good start and I was glad the day kept going in that direction. These were always smiling, even with the super hot day I wound up moving on. Allstate Van Lines made my move easy and quick. more

When my mother chose to move from Norfolk to Southern California, I decided to use Allstate Van Lines. I had moved earlier from Bay area and had great service from their website. Good Movers 7/8/2011

Movers from Allstate Van Lines know what they're doing. I moved into my new place on the upper west side last week and it was a breeze. The guy in charge was great and had total control over the move, I just had to get them Gatorade to keep them running. The price was the same as promised and nothing was broken. more

Very professional moving company! 6/25/2011

We used Allstate Van Lines movers for the past 10 years. Their packers were and quick and very careful. I used them to pack my 4 bedroom home and I thought it would take them at least 10 hours. They were done in 4 hours with 2 packers. Allstate Van Lines moving crew and also top notch. Movers were running 15 minutes late and called me to let me know that they were stuck in traffic. When you are packed, they really can pack the van quickly. I highly recommend Allstate Van Lines movers in Norfolk! more

The crew of 4 was fast and efficient and did not damage anything. \r They were very professional and numbered the boxes so that you can check off each number upon arrival. Great service 3/21/2011

That was a great surprise! I never though it would be such a smooth move to my new apartment. I was very excited about moving but was quite stressed. Flat rate managed to work around my schedule and changed the start time a few times until everything worked out between the buildings and my schedule. They even called the building and sent insurance (my building is very strict). I was impressed. I didn't have to worry about anything and that's how it should be. Great service! I highly recommend. more

A job well done 3/20/2011

The move went very smoothly to our surprise and the price was the same as we were quoted initially. The movers were courteous and polite. They managed to accomplish this complicated move that involved three different locations efficiently and without any problems. I was also impressed with how well they worked with the doormen at the apartment buildings. I strongly recommend this company to anyone moving. more

Great Moving Company 3/10/2011

I just moved and it was a fantastic moving experience. The crew of 3 was fast and efficient and damaged nothing. They even had to go up 2 flights to get all of my stuff and go up 2 flights to put it away in the new place. They asked me where I wanted stuff placed. The price didn't change even though there were a few extra items not mentioned for the estimate (that must always happen). I highly recommend using this moving company. Knowing the cost before you move is great, and then you don't have to hope they hurry it up to keep it cheap. more

Top Notch Moving Company! 3/4/2011

I've used professional moving companies 4 times. This was by far the best company. They were just a bit pricier than the rest, but they were well worth it. From the first phone call, to the actual move, they made the experience completely painless. They packed the entire house, and took care with each and every item. They handled every piece of furniture as if it were a priceless heirloom. On top of that, the crew that worked with us was extremely respectful and professional. I would recommend them without hesitation. more
