Allstate Transmission & Auto Repair

I have been using Allstate Transmission for several years now. They have been great. Every time I have gone to them they have been very professional. They stand behind their work. My transmission completely failed on me, and they repaired it and repaired until it was right. After the initial repair, my transmission messed up again, and they went ahead and repaired it again, no problem. They were surprised, but they did not argue at all. They just told me to bring back it in. Another time I called them when I broke down, and they said, "no problem, where are you?" and they sent out a tow. They are very good people. I recommend them to friends all the time, and they work on my girlfriend's car as well. I have had no problems with Allstate Transmission. Mark DeGraw more

Bill, at Allstate Transmission & Auto Repair, has been a great transmission guy for 20 years. I couldn't give him more than a AAA plus. I am perfectly satisfied. Everything is always positive, and I have no complaints on his work. AAA as I say. more

your mechanic tim broke my a/c it was perfect before i came to your shop. I'M DISGUSTED with the service and the cost I don't believe my timing belt was going in my PT and even if it was the manager knew that their is a safety built in the motor in the event the belt does break to protect the engine from damage but did'nt tell me this .You guys are very dishonest and greedy for money,worst of all you scam women. I personally reviewed the technicians and the service writers recommendations for repairs on your vehicle. I also want you to know that customer safety is of the utmost importance to us. Your vehicle came in running rough, and upon inspection the technician found a worn timing belt tensioner and timing belt. Our people recommended that you replace these items, because if you hadn't the belt would have broken. If it had while you were driving the vehicle it would have stopped running right then going down the road. This could have been very dangerous, perhaps even life threatening. This is why the recommendation was made. I also checked with our service writer about what went wrong with your A/C system. He informed me that your compressor was making a noise. I can assure you that changing a timing belt could not have caused this to happen to your compressor. However, in the interest of customer satisfaction, we would be willing to put the part on free of any labor charges if you purchase the part. I knew Allstate Transmission & Auto Repair from the area because I live nearby, and I decided to try them out. They were friendly, professional, and qualified mechanics. I was slightly disappointed that I paid more than I expected, more than the estimate they gave me, but I sort of understood why. After they replaced the radiator in my car, the manager told me to keep an eye on it because it could leak a little bit initially, so I have been watching it closely. This morning, I did not see anymore leaking, so I think it might be fine. I would recommend Allstate Transmission & Auto Repair for being competent mechanics. Louis Moore more

I have been living in the area since 1988 but never had a reason to use Allstate Transmission & Auto Repair until recently when I needed a new transmission. Their service was excellent and their professionalism, in particular, was off the charts, above and beyond. Their compassion made me feel like they cared about me, my car, and my situation. It is hard to find that kind of service anymore...it reminded me of the good old days back in the 1970s when my dad took me, as a boy, to a small local auto shop.
