I would NOT recommend allstate sransmissions to my worst enemy. This was my worst experience with an auto repair shop. After paying almost $2400. for an unneeded transmission overhaul (I know this cause my truck was doing the same thing after overhaul) Mr rich linderman will miss treat you by being rude and very unprofessional and basically calling you a lier when he tries to convince you that your vehicle is not doing the same thing it was doing after you pay. So if you like to pay for someone else misdiagnosis and for their mechanics to train on your vehicle while you pay. And if you like to be mistreated talked down to made feel like everything is your fault when you question them. This is you repair shop. PS: When you ask to speak to someone other than mr linderman he will tell you he is the only one you can speak to and all decisions come from above. more

Best option 7/18/2011

This was not the least expensive option but it is the best. As a single mother I was apprehensive + cautious about who I chose to select for my repair. Bill was knowledgeable, caring + honest. Although it took 2 days longer than he initially thought, Bill was able to have the work completed before the holiday weekend. I would recommend Allstate to anyone. Thanks Bille + and techs at Allstate! more

Good experience 6/22/2011

I have used Allstate Transmission & Auto Repair three times, it has been a good experience each time. The last two times I worked with Tony, and Tony has always been great. The first time wasn't that great of an experience, and I wasn't going to go back there, but Tony handled the situation. Now I am very comfortable going back and comfortable recommending them. The two times previously I went to them because my engine was leaking oil. They needed to replace a bunch of seals. The last time I went there because I had a radiator that needed repairs. I think their manager Tony really understands customer service. The first guy I saw was rude and disrespectful, but Tony took care of it. Tony is very respectful of customers. He had the work done, and if there was an issue he made sure it was taken care of. It is good work. more

Allstate has ALWAYS fixed problems I have had with my car. Whenever I have had a problem, I call management and they analyze the problem and they fix it in a timely manner at competitive pricing. Allstate is by far the best Auto Repair company more

Here at Allstate in Desoto I have been treated with perfect courtesy, honesty and service that goes beyond fairness. I was so impressed with my initial contact with them that when I needed my engine replaced, I had my car towed from more than and hour away, and it was definitely worth it. more

I feel that the real test of an auto repair company is how they handle unexpected complications. We had a couple of those on my car, and they were committed to finding the problem, didn’t charge me any extra, and were gracious about my needs and about the extra work. more
