I had a minor 'accident' in a parking lot - I broke the blinker light on the fender and bent a piece of molding - 'Oh, no problem' right? Allstate increased my insurance by almost $1,000 a year!!!! That was for my 1st and only 'accident'. What do I pay insurance for????? I called Allstate and they don't have a good explanation except they based that increase on my driving record. The only black mark on my record is this one infraction. Find another insurance company. more
