Poor serviced, missed pickups, inconsistent times. They will keep charging you for 120 days even after they have stopped picking up, then send it to a collections agency. Unhelpful on the phone. Rates keep increasing for no reason. more

ducking financial responsibility 7/1/2011

I wish I had read the reviews on Allied / Republic services before their truck #1206 damaged my hood and broke my windshield by dropping trash on it . If so I would have known they wouldn't live up to their financial duty to repair my vehicle. Instead, being ""self insured"" they use the services of a company that makes it money from the misery it's clients like allied waste create for the average person who thinks that people and companies are inherently good and will live up to their responsibilities. Boy are we wrong! Ive learned my lesson as this is the second time I've had my vehicle damaged by a""self insured"" company truck, the first time it was Oak Farms Dairy that ran over my truck doing $1500.00 in damage and refusing to repair it using a company just like Allied is using to skirt it's responsibilities. I intend to pursue this as a matter of principle irregardless of costs and Oak Farms, I'm checking the statute of limitations so that perhaps we can meet again also. I'll be easy to spot . I'm the grey truck with the broken windshield, hood, rear 1/4 panel and bumper damaged. Gary Carpenter, Austin Windowerks Inc. more

Promises that went unkept 6/3/2011

Recently my wife and I had our trash can stolen. We called Allied waste and told them about our problem. They said that they would get us a new trash can out here the next day. When it was not delivered I myself called to find out what happened. They apologized and promised it would be out there the next day between 8-5. Later the next day my wife also called, and was told 8-8 for the new trash can to be delivered. Now its the 3rd day and the trash can has not been delivered. We are swimming in our own flith due to the trash can never being delivered. Just my personal opinion if you have a choice do not use Allied Waste. Their promises are hollow as their sincere apologies. more

The Absolute Worst 10/1/2010

I agree with the other reviews. Allied Waste has to be one of the worst companies I have ever worked with in regard to consistently bad service and even worse customer service(or lack thereof). Allied has missed about 6 trash pickups at our business in one and a half years and every time we call to let them know about it, they do nothing. I could not get one single person that worked at Allied to actually listen to the problems we were having and make any attempt to fix them. Most companies who make a mistake do everything they can to right the wrong and retain the customer. Not these guys. more

Bad service, bad manager, bad business 9/4/2009

I had no problems with Allied Waste Services, until the week of July 4 this year. First, my sanitation worker came by and did not pick up our trash - apparently, a neighbor's care was parked too close to the trash can. Not a problem - I called and the worker was to come by again after I'd moved the trash can. Pros: Some workers are extremely helpful and polite Cons: Some workers are lazy; management is terrible more

Have had Allied Waste for over 6 years. We have no other residential trash provider in the city we live in. Pros: Will pick up trash in our rural area. Cons: Charges you for 52 weekly pickups and tends to only perform 45 to 48 of them more
