The Alliance on Aging of Monterey County provides services to and advocates for older adults and their caregivers. Our Services include information and referral t resources throughout the County; peer counseling for seniors in need of emotional support; Medicare insurance counseling and education; Ombudsman advocates who respond to complaints in long term care facilities; assistance with selection of a long term care facility; income tax counseling; and senior employment training. Assistance with income tax preparation,help with selecting a Medicare Part D plan,referral to other services for senior adults,advocacy for individuals in long term care facilities,help completing forms,and training with pay Employment placement for adults 55-plus in the workplace; training for family caregivers.
