Overland has a lot of history. It's the name of my neighborhood and my house was built in 11923 so that should tell you something. Great locals...HUGE fairways that are always straight so it's a great course for the beginner who wants to play a r4eal course. Overland also has a driving range, cute beverage cart girl and my favorite Public Course clubhouse in Denver. Great burger! Pros: Long and straight, Good restaurant, Inexpensive Cons: little hole variety, Long and straight, a bit dull more

No OB at Overland 6/26/2002

This place is not going to make the cover of Golf Digest, but it is an enjoyable round of Golf and is cheap! I would call this an after work course where you don't have to drive 40 minutes away and you'll always get squeezed in for 9 or 18. Good driving range people are generally nice and it's quick. Some long par 4's and if you play fronm the blues it is definitely worth the money. 11 bucks for 9 holes if you live in Denver. Pros: accessible, cheap Cons: slow greens more
