I live in NYC, wanted to send flowers 5/29/2012

I live in NYC, wanted to send flowers in San Diego. Having recently been burned by two different florists in other states when ordering from far away, I was worried that it might happen again since I can only go on blind trust. I am so thankful for the care and attention Allen's put into creating a lovely, fresh arrangement. It was beautiful. People send flowers for occasions that mean something to them, and Allen's showed a respect for that. I will definitely order from them again if I ever need flowers in the San Diego area. Unsatisfied Customer 10/14/2010

My experience with Allen's Flowers, the downtown location is not a good one. I ordered a beautiful flower arrangement (from their website) full of baby roses for bosses day. When I went to pick up the arrangement, it wasn't ready and no one ordered the roses needed to make the arrangement. The lady helping me gave me an insincere apology, and gave me the impression that she could care less. I did leave with a bouquet but was disappointed with the poor customer service I received, as well as, not getting the bouquet I originally ordered. Very dissatisfied customer :-( In the future, I'll go where the establishment is more customer oriented. Gail F. more

Downtown flowers 2/18/2010

Great downtown florist. They always have a beautiful display of their flowers, it makes walking by very difficult. They also have a nice selection of house plants. A great place to shop for a quick gift. more
