Extremely pleased. Called allen tree experts about having an old oak tree cleaned up (removing dead branches, thin out, etc.). I called in the morning and he came out and gave me a quote that evening. When performing the job the following week, they took care not to damage any lawn furniture and did a great job cleaning up after the job was complete. Very pleased with the results and the tree looks great. Would definitely use them again. more

Mr. Scott Allen truly puts his customer first. He was recommended to me by a business associate. I called and he was at my site and provided a proposal the very same day. He started work the very next day. All of his people were friendly fast and professional. The 4 day job was completed ahead of my schedule and above my expectations. Careful and Quiet 8/11/2011

As an industrial engineer with thirty years experience, I suppose I'm qualified to pontificate on the merits of this company: A. Courteous, but not obsequious B. Mid-range ( 3 quotes ) price C. A truly professional tree service 3/17/2011

Called Scott at Allen Tree Service based upon the positive reviews and I am very happy that I did. I called Scott while I was traveling and he called me back promptly. He showed up on time, gave me a very competitive quote and set a date and time for the job. They showed up EXACTLY at the scheduled time and hour. I had a large tree removed, three stumps ground and a large amount of smaller trees and brush ground and hauled away.. The job was done quickly and they left my property far cleaner than when they arrived. I highy recommend Scott at Allen Tree Service. more

Professional and talented 1/26/2011

Quoted $600 dollar to grind five stumps, 30% reduction of two bradford pears, and 1 dog wood clean up. Showed up on time, worked like a well oiled machine, finished quickly and cleaned up every last twig. Those of you who wish to give 4 stars since they left a bottle on your property are just nitpicking.....will hire them again in the future! If I could give them 6 stars I would!!! more

I didn't get a chance to tell you how wonderful the experience was at my home last week. As we went tree to tree that was trimmed, we admired the individual artistry and care that was applied to each tree and realized that it was ‘exactly the amount’ needed to be trimmed. Professional and polite 1/11/2011

We used Allen after checking with BBB and found out that they haven't had a complaint or, if they did, it was satisfactorily handled. They did act as a quiet team and I will use them again if needed. Someone left a water bottle on my lawn or they could have had 5 stars. (I am a teacher and don't like to give perfect scores). more

Great service w. *reasonable prices* 12/14/2010

I am a loyal costumer..and have been using Allen Tree service for years! When I first moved to raleigh.. a tree fell in my backyard! I had 5 estimates from different companies.. Mr. Allen's was the second cheapest price of the 5. The cheapest company showed up in a beat up pick up truck..so I went w. Allen Tree Service..and I've been using their services ever since! The workers are polite and professional..and they get the job done! After removing the tree from my backyard... theres was not a branch laying around...the clean up job was immaculate! Allen Tree service is by far the best in Raleigh! more

Great Job, and Great Prices 11/6/2010

I needed some trimming and a few pines taken down, called 3 or 4 other tree companies before Allen Tree Service, after talking to Scott, their price was obviously the best. They came out, did the job and cleaned up great. Definitely recommend for tree business. more

Affordable and did a grreat job!!! 9/16/2010

We got4 quotes. They were the most affordable and also had the simplest solution.No removing fences or calling neighbors etc...They took the tree down in sections. I also asked about a competitor and they recommended their services in several area. To me this shows integrity. When I called for a quote Scott said he was with a very nervous client so he needed to stay on site until the job was done. This also says integrity and they care about their clients. They did a great job and cleaned everything up. I highly recommend them!! more

Repeat customer 6/7/2010

I called Scott a few years ago to remove some Cyprus trees that had blown over into my neighbors yard. I was worried about the mess but there was none. These guys really know what they are doing. They do it quick and they do it right. Now I have a dead Magnolia that is leaning on the house. Scott was here within 2 hours of my call. I wish everyone was this good! Fantastic Tree Service 6/27/2008

Scott's dad Doyle came out to grind a stump in my back yard and I have to say he's probably the world's best tree grinder. Fast and professional service with a reasonable price and left the yard looking terrific when he was finished. Really great service overall. Pros: Fast same day service in my case, fantastic work quality Cons: Doyle might talk your ear off if you give him the chance. more

Excellent service - very professional 6/24/2006

They made a large white oak disappear from my driveway next to my house which had died from construction root damage. There was no trace of the tree when I came home from work and they even cleaned up the leaves and yard debri that I had been procrastinating about in my driveway! Excellent, professional and neat! If you have tree work to be done these are the guys you should call. Pros: two thumbs up! more
