Bottom line: Allen Tree Experts is a top notch, professional service. Five Stars.\r \r I needed to have some oak trees pruned near my house, and several large limbs had grown over my roof making it a tricky job. I was concerned about getting highly qualified people to handle this job because of the potential for significant damage to my roof and home. I called Allen Tree Experts, and had a quote within a day. The cost was reasonable for the job.\r \r They did not begin the work until the season was right for oak trees to be pruned (mid October), and I appreciate that level of expertise. When the work crew arrived, they were equipped with heavy-duty equipment (cherry picker, crane, shredders, bobcats, trucks) that was exceptionally well maintained. The work was completed in three hours with a thorough clean-up of my yard. The final cost was exactly as quoted, so no surprise there.\r \r If you have some large trees that need pruning or to be removed, these are the guys you need to call. \r \r Dan more

These guys are good! Joined Citisearch just so I could comment. Came out for an estimate in one day. Arrived at scheduled time to begin work. We had a couple large trees removed, and several more limbed up to ~20 feet. As the landscape began to open up, I noticed and asked for some additional work beyond the estimate. They gave me the price first, then did everything I asked. Cleaned the yard better than it was when they arrived. Workers are skilled and efficient, and price is more than reasonable. I will absolutely call them again if I need any more work!! more

Excellent Job 3/22/2012

I normally don't write reviews but my experience with Allen Tree Experts was so positive I felt I had to. When I called Scott Allen for an estimate he was very prompt in getting back with me and I received the estimate by the end of the day. His prices are competitive with a few other companies I called. I decided to hire Allen Tree Experts because of prior comments from this site. His staff did an excellent job. I had a tree cut down and several crepe myrtles pruned, all within 90 minutes. They did an excellent job cleaning up which is what sold me. Normally I have to clean up after contractors but this wasn't the case with Scott and his crew. I will definitely use his company again. more

nice work 11/19/2011

Extremely pleased. Called allen tree experts about having an old oak tree cleaned up (removing dead branches, thin out, etc.). I called in the morning and he came out and gave me a quote that evening. When performing the job the following week, they took care not to damage any lawn furniture and did a great job cleaning up after the job was complete. Very pleased with the results and the tree looks great. Would definitely use them again. more

Allen's Tree Service Is Fantastic 8/12/2011

Mr. Scott Allen truly puts his customer first. He was recommended to me by a business associate. I called and he was at my site and provided a proposal the very same day. He started work the very next day. All of his people were friendly fast and professional. The 4 day job was completed ahead of my schedule and above my expectations. Careful and Quiet 8/11/2011

As an industrial engineer with thirty years experience, I suppose I'm qualified to pontificate on the merits of this company: A. Courteous, but not obsequious B. Mid-range ( 3 quotes ) price C. Professional and talented 1/26/2011

Quoted $600 dollar to grind five stumps, 30% reduction of two bradford pears, and 1 dog wood clean up. Showed up on time, worked like a well oiled machine, finished quickly and cleaned up every last twig. Those of you who wish to give 4 stars since they left a bottle on your property are just nitpicking.....will hire them again in the future! If I could give them 6 stars I would!!! more

I didn't get a chance to tell you how wonderful the experience was at my home last week. As we went tree to tree that was trimmed, we admired the individual artistry and care that was applied to each tree and realized that it was ?exactly the amount? needed to be trimmed. My neighbor also raved about the professionalism of your crew, and considerate they were. Thank you!? more

Professional and polite 1/11/2011

We used Allen after checking with BBB and found out that they haven't had a complaint or, if they did, it was satisfactorily handled. They did act as a quiet team and I will use them again if needed. Someone left a water bottle on my lawn or they could have had 5 stars. (I am a teacher and don't like to give perfect scores). more

Great Job, and Great Prices 11/6/2010

I needed some trimming and a few pines taken down, called 3 or 4 other tree companies before Allen Tree Service, after talking to Scott, their price was obviously the best. They came out, did the job and cleaned up great. Definitely recommend for tree business. more

Affordable and did a grreat job!!! 9/16/2010

We got4 quotes. They were the most affordable and also had the simplest solution.No removing fences or calling neighbors etc...They took the tree down in sections. I also asked about a competitor and they recommended their services in several area. To me this shows integrity. When I called for a quote Scott said he was with a very nervous client so he needed to stay on site until the job was done. This also says integrity and they care about their clients. They did a great job and cleaned everything up. I highly recommend them!! more

Repeat customer 6/7/2010

I called Scott a few years ago to remove some Cyprus trees that had blown over into my neighbors yard. I was worried about the mess but there was none. These guys really know what they are doing. They do it quick and they do it right. Pros: hard working Professional more

Fantastic Tree Service 6/27/2008

Scott's dad Doyle came out to grind a stump in my back yard and I have to say he's probably the world's best tree grinder. Fast and professional service with a reasonable price and left the yard looking terrific when he was finished. Really great service overall. Pros: Fast same day service in my case, fantastic work quality Cons: Doyle might talk your ear off if you give him the chance. more
