Best vets in town 8/26/2010

I stopped going to Pittsfield vet after getting tired of being treated horribly by their snobby front desk people, and now have my pets going to Allen Heights. Everyone there is pleasant, not only to my pets but to me. Anyone with bad reviews need to go see how bad Pittsfield vet treat their clients to understand just how great Allen Heights is. more

Amazing! 8/12/2010

My husband and I moved to the Berkshires from the west coast 3 years ago and didn?t know anyone. Shortly after we moved here we were referred to a different Vet here in Pittsfield by a neighbor, where we discovered our 8 year old bulldog had cancer. We were not happy with that Vet or the office so we decided to give Allen Heights a try after having driven by it several times. We have been extremely satisfied with Allen Heights from the moment we stepped in to the office. While Dr. Newman is the Vet we primarily see, Dr. Tullett is just as wonderful and so is the rest of the staff! We had many issues with our pup during the last part of her life - Dr. Newman was so amazing throughout the entire process. Last year, it was finally time to put our pup down and Dr. Tullett was the one who euthanized her. She, as well as the rest of the office were so kind and thoughtful during such a difficult time. Now we have two new puppies and Allen Heights is equally as fantastic with them. more

New Owners in 2007!!! 7/1/2008

I have been a client of Allen Heights Veterinary Hospital since the late Dr. Ovitsky owned it. Since then, it has gone through 2 changes in ownership. The new owners, Dr. Tullett and her husband Brian have really done a lot with the hospital. It has a very quaint and personal atmosphere. The staff have all worked together before and are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The doctors are professional and care about my pet as well as myself. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinarian. more

Don't even bother with this veterniary hospital! 4/8/2006

I used to go here prior to 2000, then came back again with my new dog in 2005 & what a shock! I actually felt that the object of this business was more geared to "what can we sell to make more money", then when i needed things like medicine or food that was recommended, it was hardly avaiable. this palce has gone down hill since the new owner/s took over a few years ago. Also, the 3 or 4 appointments i had began with very long wait times & the dr. always running behind. I don't mind waiting for a bit but 30-45+ minutes each and every time is not fun, especially with an active dog. I'll never go back.\r The hospital also did not seem very clean either. PROS: a couple nice women but who seem they hate their job CONS: soooo many!!!! more
