I visited this firm because a friend of mine referred me to them. I was a little reluctant at first because there are so many people out there that portray themselves as “tax pros”. In fact I’ve been screwed in the past for errors that other people did on my tax returns that got the IRS asking for more information. However; I felt very comfortable once I sat down and was interviewed by the folks at Allegro Tax Services. The gentleman that helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable. He explained to me the reason behind refunds and why sometimes you end up owing taxes to the IRS. I worked at many jobs throughout the year and didn’t fully understand about W-4s, withholdings and stuff like that. Needless to say, I learned a lot by visiting Allegro tax Services. I did have to wait a few days before my tax return was done, but I guess it was because they extremely busy. Other than that, it was a great experience. I would definitely go back. Pros: Very knowledgeable about financial matters and taxes. Cons: It took a few days to get my taxes done. more

I visited Allegro Tax Services because I’ve known the owner of this tax services firm while he was a senior finance officer at a major commercial bank. Their advice concerning tax reporting was straight forward and in the best interest of the client, especially small business clients like me. They help folks to prevent committing unnecessary mistakes in their tax returns that can potentially become nightmares with the IRS. They don’t BS you about doing questionable movements about tax return reporting. You either qualify for something or you don’t. They also assist small businesses with tax planning in order to become much more efficient and more attractive to commercial banks. I used to go to another CPA firm for tax advice, however, not only was it overpriced, but I also got penalized on one of my returns because of an error they made. The folks at Allegro Tax Services corrected this error and got the IRS to waive the penalties as well. Overall, I was pleased with the service and look forward to continue doing business with them. Pros: Professional and Accurate. Cons: Fairly new in business. more
