Allegro Dance Studios

I have gone to this studio for 14 years and it is amazing!!! Each teacher is unique and they always have fun ways for their dancers to improve. I would not trade my expiriences that I have had at this studio for anything!!!!! I have met so many friends and have learned soo soo many new exciting skills. Everytime I go to class it is NEVER a dissapionment and I can't wait to go the next day! Each teacher is so understanding and wants the very best for each child! First of all, I don't understand people who will write a great review but only give 4 stars when it comes to rating. To me that's inconsistent. There is nothing 4 stars about this studio. It is run by a very dedicated couple, they love what they do and it shows in everything they do from their awesome summer camps to their wonderful recitals. They teach ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and modern as well as some combo classes to children ages 3 to 18. They even have some adult dance classes and an awesome junior and senior dance team. Year round classes usually start the last week of August and end in early June. They have two recitals, one Christmas recital in December and one year end Spring recital. The December recital is completely free, even most of the costumes are provided by the owners for this one. It is a beautiful show with Christmas music. The Spring recital is a great production that always has a theme, such as "The Wizard of Oz", "In the Library with Hans Christian Andersen" and this year's "My Summer Vacation". Both my girls take dance here and we would not think of going anywhere else. It's affordable, very professional and so many the girls that start here as preschoolers are still here in high school. more

When we moved in from out of state we were told we HAD to go here. I am so glad! Both my girls attend the beginners classes. Being 3 and 5 they find the classes fantastic. They love watching themselves in the mirrors, learning "real ballerina" moves, and making friends. Ms. Shelly, their teacher, is creative and patient with the kids. She doesn't "dumb down" the class just because they are children. She expects them to learn but in an encouraging manner. I love being able to watch through the one-way mirror window! My quieter daughter is really blossoming and my outgoing daughter is learning to listen and focus because they want to learn! more

Enroll your children at Allegro Dance Studios in Old Town area of Mukilteo (Rosehill Community Center). Your kids will love their dance experience at this studio. You will find the owners and instructors to be professional with a positive approach. Run by a local couple they totally provide a creative, fun and safe environment for your children to learn. My daughter loved her experience here for 12 years. Kids look forward to having their annual Spring recital at the Kamiak High School Preforming Arts Stage.My daughter is still watching her video tapes on past recitals. What fun to look back and see her skills develop over the years! Adult tap classes available also. more
