SAVE A TRIP TO ITALY 1/20/2004

I felt like I was on a visual and culinary trip through Italy. The staff, the food, the decor and the energy was as if I was watching a scene from an Italian movie. Great Italian in LA 8/19/2003

On my quest to find a great restaurant in Malibu to take the little lady I found ALLEGRIA. The staff was very warm and inviting and made us feel at home. The food was among the top Italian that I've eaten in Los Angeles. It made my night complete! I'm going back for the wine tasting dinner that I believe they have every month. Try it to believe it! The feeling is like being transported back to an italian locanda. The smells and the staff make you feel like you are back in the old country. I highly reccomend it for an authentic Italian experience. Pros: food, good value Cons: distance, crowded more

Wonderful! 6/17/2002

I went to Allegria with my boyfriend and absolutely loved it. We had never been there before but decided to try it based on the reviews we read--we were not let down. The food was great, the wine was delicious and the ambience was very romatic. We even appreciated the honesty of our waiter when we asked for suggestions on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner or for just a casual dinner with friends. more
