Allbrand Windows

They have installed windows and doors in our home in November of 2005. Everything started to leak in JANUARY of 2005 already. After getting an attorney involved they reinstalled the SAME doors and windows in May of 2005 but never took care of the water demage.(wet walls, mold etc...) Next big storm season came in 2008 ( We live in Los Angeles) everything leaks again. We called several licensed experts.Their statement: ALLBRAND did not mesure the doors or windows correctly. We have FAULTY PRODUCTS, POOR WORKMANSHIP, absolutly NO CUSTOMER SERVICE from them. In a minute they have your money their LIFETIME WARRANTY DOES NOT WORTH ANYTHING. They do not want to honor it inspite of the fact that water comes through our windows by the bucket!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!!!!!!!!! I have to run after my money, take care of the water demage. Learn from my experince and AVOID ALLBRAND WINDOWS!!! Do not belive them!!!!!!!!! They will give you a very attractive price, but will leave you ""high and dry"" after they have your money. I have asked the maker of the windows to help us. POLYBAU!!!!!!! FORGET THEM!!!!! Allbrand pushes their products....It is all money... Customer does not worth anything for any of those companies after you paid them off!!!!! Pros: Low Price(but it is their catch) Cons: Faulty Products, No customer Service, Poor workmanship more

I'm glad i went with Allbrand. My next door neighbor went with a company called OMNI, which he found out was the same as a company called Bay City, and even though he bought his windows before me, i got mine installed before him. And when he got his installed, they didn't look half as good as mine, and the installers left without finishing his sliding door. Pros: They compare multiple brands of windows side by side and they have a nice showroom Cons: The showroom was kind of far for me, but it was worth it. more

My mom bought a door and installation from these guys. When the first crew left, the door would not lock because the lock set was put in backwards!! The overall finish of the job was an embarrasment to a company which claims to be so good. A second crew came out that night and fixed some of the problems (locking of door).
