The receptionist at the Maitland office is HORRIBLE. My boyfriend and I traveled over an hour and half to Orlando to have the surgical procedure done. When we got there, at 8:30am, we were on edge already but the protesters outside didn't help (I know they can't control that, freedom of speech and all that). Also, the building was like a tiny, old run down building that looked like a former store of some kind --- there was no place to park! Seriously, there were literally like two parking spots and there were a lot of people in that little building. They had this rent-a-cop that demanded I put away everything! No cellphones, no purse, nothing. I don't know what he was there for but he wasn't there for very long before he was outside directing traffic to the horrible parking space. Anyway, back to the receptionist with the horrible attitude. It was like she didn't want to be there. Whenever anyone tried to ask her anything she just ignored them! The nurse would call someone back and the door would shut and inside of buzzing the person in, they would stand there for a few minutes waiting before they had to practically shout at her to let them back. It was like we were wasting her time; not the other way around. She should really be more polite because technically we are still paying customers. Treat us with respect; not like trash. I finally went back there and peed in the cup to confirm my pregnancy and then they pricked my finger to determine my blood type. They took my blood pressure and told me it was very high, so they weren't sure if they could do anything for me but they were going to still try. I drank some water; tried to 'relax' and they took it again but it was still high. The nurse/'counselor' told me she was afraid to put me under as I could go into cardiac arrest and die but it was up to the doctor. I obviously didn't feel comfortable doing that so we left but not before getting more attitude from the receptionist. Find somewhere else to go if you can afford it, it's not worth it!
