We bought a 01 PT cruiser from them it had 70k miles, we had it for about two weeks and the check engine light comes on so we take it in before the 30 day warranty was up. The service dept told us they tighten some tubes and replaced the gas cap because it was throwing up emissions codes (it had passed emissions test before we bought it). They charged us $100 (after their 30 day BS warranty) to do that to it and also told us they wanted to clean the fuel system for $300. We told them no we didn’t have the money for that, we still needed to pay sales tax on the stupid thing. So we left pissed b/c why wouldn’t they do the general maintenance on a used car before they sell it too someone. Just the way he talked to us like oh it’s Only $300 even though you just bought the car from us, it was rude. So we drive it for another two weeks and last weekend it decided to break down and this time it was the clutch. So were thinking okay, THIS is why we bought the extended warranty! No, it turns out that the extended warranty doesn’t cover the clutch or clutch parts. WTF, why would they sell us a manual transmission and THAT part is the ONLY part that isn’t covered on the extended warranty!!! So now we’ve had this car for about 40 days and it needs work AGAIN! And we haven’t even gotten the chance to get it registered yet. So the manager kinda blew off my fiancée on the phone and told him that IF we have the car towed to them then they will give us 50% off labor and 25% off parts. Wouldn’t be a big big deal but the car is broke down in south city and we can’t afford repairs AND tow AND registration. Don’t buy from them, their just out to get money however they can.
Pros: Nice sales guy
Cons: the car is a lemon in less that 40 days
