Dishonest 1/28/2019

This guy busted my kids snow tube after asking my family to use it. He and his daughter both went down on it and busted it in front of my young children. Than had nerve to tell us he thought that might happen. He said he would make it right, but it has been crickets since. Would never trust these people if they can be this dishonest about something so small. Very sad the way people can be! more

Easy to work with 11/27/2005

We called All Purpose Improvements to have a tree removed from out yard after we moved in. We called them, and they came out and assessed the situation and gave us an esitmate for free. We hired them to do the job, and they made an appointment that fit well with our schedule. They were on time, and very nice. He even cleaned up all of the debris from the tree in our yard, and hauled the tree away. Their prices were the best in town, and they did great work. I would recommend to anyone. more

You have to go 9/10/2005

It's the best winery I've seen - and I did serious touring of Napa and Sonoma valleys. You have to go, not least because they can't ship their wines inside or outside of Indiana (for legal reasons, it's something about agreements with other states, and buying extra grapes from Michigan). The wines tend to be on the sweet side, but Gewurtztraminer and Riesling are clear and subtle, and muscat is top-of-the-list. Tastings are free at all times, tours of the winery are too, the outdoor patios by the lake simply amazing, and they've got a good store of everything that goes with wine - fresh bread, cheeses, spreads... Just find a designated driver - you'll want to try more than you think. more
