All My Sons Moving & Storage

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I was very specific is giving them a description of what I needed moved from our apartment to our home. They recommended three men and quoted me $497. They showed up with two men that moved at the pace of a turtle. My husband (who did not intend on having to help move) was doing laps around them. It takes 25 minutes max to get from the apartment to our home. They took over 45 minutes and all showed up with mcdonalds bags and drinks. I watches as the three of them folded blankets in the moving van as my husband moved boxes and furniture. They then charged us over $1100. When I called to complain, the man was completely rude and unwilling to make things right. They ended up crediting us $50 for the added time it took them to get to the house. To top it all off, their own employee told us who to call to complain to and said they have issues like this almost every time. NEVER would I recommend All My Sons to anyone! more

I agreed to have this company move my bedroom set from one house to another with the understanding that it was $89 and hour plus an hour for travel. After that they charge in 15 minute increments. They did not give me any paperwork until after they already loaded everything and then they wanted 3 hours worth of payment and it was still less than the first hour. I was very clear about how small the job was but they lied to me about the price, asked for more than the agreed price and then blackmailed me into paying or they were going to keep my stuff and make me pay storage fees. They lie to get the business then blackmail you into paying more than the agreed on price to get it back, If they had presented me with the paperwork when they got there I would have sent them away. more

If you are not from Knoxville and you call around to get quotes to move someone to a city two hours away and you call Knoxville movers..PLEASE don't take these people at their word..you explain where you are going and what floor how much belongs and they give you a rate..they do not come out and look at the furniture they tell you over the phone..Now the good part they pick up a small one bedroom apartment..we have already packed everything and it is sitting in a small living room.they move a couch..a chair..two end tables..a tv..a table and four chairs.a bed.a night stand ...washer and dryer and the boxes...took them three hours..Now remember I have already been quoted a flat fee so I don't care how long it takes them..WRONG! We all leave for a two hour trip and we are behind my grandaughter by about an hour...we get this phone call..and she tells me""Nana, I thought you said $625.00 and I said yes it is and she said""NO it is $1256.32 I said that is a mistake I will call the Sales Manager..Oh he was so nice and said ""Did they do something extra, I said ""NO"" and he replied well you want hear from me anymore who will be hearing from the General Manager and we will get to the bottom of this..WRONG again.He basically called us liars and said the sales manager would not have told us that..and called my dying husband a liar and said we were not there the hold time and so how do we know how long it took to load..my husband replied ""Sir we were there the hold time and he still called him a liar..They had already the day before ask my daughter to put a down payment of a $100.00 and she said this will be taking off of the bill of $625.00 repley ""Yes""..As they say it rolls down hill from there...She had to pay it they would not take the belongs off the truck and was charging their men to sit there..when my husband and I got there and my daughter had paid..then they got really busy and empty the truck in less than an hour and half..where it took three hours to load..the movers were not surprised by all this in fact told us to call Corp that it had happened several times before..and he had been wrote up for telling these poor people that have been done wrong...to call corporate..If they lose their job I sure hope they get a better company to work for..I am still in total shock that someone would out and out lie to a customer and then deny it..I did tell the sales manager he had to lay his head down at night and try to sleep and know they he had took someones Christmas bonus they they did not have the extra money and that a grandaughter that had just graduated and has a dying grandfather how could he do that to them..No REMORSE what so ever...I will never use them again and I advise anyone to check them out..get it in writing or email..they did not even send me one..but silly me I thought they were honest people..It is so strange the other quotes I got were a little higher..and these people were so friendly..until you caught them in a lie and boy did that friendless ever change..If I am wrong then why am I so upset..ask yourself that... more

I moved last Staurday on the 29th and used these guys. I know reading a review sometimes you think the person is a habitual complainer, but this is not the case this time. I never write bad reviews. I do feel this company needs to be exposed.\r \r Six hours late, damaged walls, hole in the floor from moving washer/dryer. This is after I had to call them 4 times to find out when they were going to show up. Instead of being honest with me they just made excuses and were very rude. The movers didn't leave my house until Midnight. The poor guys moving were obviously overworked, and had no business even moving my stuff. The manager never offered to discount the move, and won't address my damage issues. These guys more than likely don't carry insurance, and will leave you exposed with hundreds of dollars worth of damage. Use the companies that have been around Knoxville for years, not outsiders who just dont care!!!! more
