THE ABSOLUTE WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER!!! I was promised the cream of the crop and got the polar opposite. One of the workers moved my son's dresser from upstairs on a dolly without strapping it. From the first step of 24, the dresser came tumbling down damaging the wall to the tune of $1,500 and a completely destroyed dresser. I have not been compensated for either! Because we closed on the house that week, I had to take a broken dresser with me to my new home over 400 miles away. The crew manager got into an argument with both my husband and I about how slow they were at packing and blamed me. Stating that they were only there to move things, when clearly it states two men were there to pack and two were there to load. ON TOP OF ALL OF THE ABOVE, the same crew member that dropped the dresser, was caught by the POD professional smoking on the side of my POD and leaving cigarette buds all over my property along side of my POD!!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!! I have yet to see or hear from a manager after several attempts to have this matter resolved. DO NOT USE THEM!!! You will be disappointed. more

Any Other Company Would Be Better 12/4/2011

This company did a horrendous job of moving my brother into his one bedroom apartment last month. The first time I talked to Brian to tell him that the move-in date had changed, I told him that I would call him when we had the keys to the apartment and gave him my number in case he needed to contact us. He went on and sent the moving truck to the apartment complex twice before I set a new move-in date, in which he informed me that the men had been sent twice and no one was there. I asked why no one had called me and he said in a very condescending tone that I had never given him my number. I told him that I had given him my number and he proceeded to call me a liar. But it gets better... Two men moved my brother's things into his apartment. Most of his things, anyway, a bookcase and a couple of boxes were missing. One of the moving men was aware of the bookcase and asked repeatedly what we wanted to do about the bookcase, which he said might be lost or broken. My brother still wanted the bookcase and we called the moving company to tell them that. The same moving man who asked at least three times about the bookcase denied having any such knowledge of the bookcase. Don't trust these men with anything you cherish. And women, don't expect these men to take you seriously, they're condescending as can be. more

DONT DO IT 8/16/2011

This company moved me on 8/5/11 to SA. Brian at the office is deceiving, They put on hidden charges and forced my hand AT TIME OF MOVE. What, am I supposed to tell these guys to unpack the truck and put everything back. Then I supposed to call another company to come get my stuff that day because I already had taken if off. Pretty sad for a company to work like this. I actually ended up paying 155$/hr. more

Best Moving Company 7/22/2010

I had a small move and was able to schedule it for the time I wanted. The men arrived on time, were efficient with their time and the cost was less than what was estimated. I will use them again and tell my friends about them. Great job Tim and Shaky!!! Pros: Fast, efficient, polite and very careful Cons: Couldn't find any faults more

The Worst Movers I've Ever Hired 8/31/2009

The home that I was renting was foreclosed on because the owner defaulted on the loan, and didn't bother to tell me. I only had a week until the deadline to vacate the premises, from the company who bought it at the auction. The movers that moved me here were great, but had nothing open for the 31st. I called All my Sons, and was told there would be no problem geting me out in time. I called their office this morning and let them know that I was behind in packing, and asked if they coudl come later in the day. I was assured that it wouldn't be a problem and they could help me pack upon arrival. When they showed up at my door, the crew leader didn't greet me or introduce himself. He looked over my shoulder and said there was too much to move in one day. There were several calls back and forth between him and the owner, and then the owner and myself. They agreed to do it until I told them that I had plenty of packing supplies and wouldn't need to buy supplies from them. The last time the owner called me, he quoted me a price of $1600 more for their supplies and time helping to pack. This was a $2600 increase in the estimated cost. After that, the owner said he would come out to see the situation himself. When he arrived I told him that I still had several boxes and 9 of the 3 and 4 foot plastic containers left to pack in. That's when they decided to walk off the job, knowing that I had to be out today or else. Mind you, I was paying by the hour, so they wouldn't lose a dime on the deal. I had asked them to start loading the numerous boxes and backyard furniture while I continued to pack, but they refused to load anything unless I bought their supplies, which ran $20 per roll of tape, and I was afraid to ask what their boxes went for. That's when I called Movin On, out of San Antonio, the ones I had used previously. They couldn't have been nicer. They agreed to show up at 8 a.m., with a five man crew and two trucks.. I have never seen movers who worked so fast and so hard in my life. They are a Christian based company and have impeccable manners and work ethics. Unless you have bottomless pockets and enjoy , working with people who act as though they're the ones doing you the favor, I suggest you try Movin On or anyone else for that matter. Pros: Absolutely Nothing Cons: Rude behavior, Unprofessional, Deceptive more

Honest Moving Company 2/18/2009

Let me start by saying that All My Sons Moving of San Antonio did a great job. I now know why they are all over the United States. Customer experience was surpassed and the packing supplies they brought didn't cost me a dime! Great service and even better people to deal with. No hassle move just like they advertise. more

Missing and damaged items 11/25/2008

I called Mark at All My Sons about a missing antique vase and got the response "it didn't show up here." That told me that these movers are irresponsible. Other than the missing vase and more damaged antiques, one hundred (100) hard back books were also not delivered. Did I call about that? No, because I knew that I would get the same runaround answer. The three men who moved me were tipped generously and the driver was a man named Leon. I used All My Sons because I had been told that they did a good job. They did a very poor job for me. more

unfair practice 11/18/2008

this is a very deceivious company with unfair practices to its customers and its on the field employees. they over charge the customer with hidden fees ,such ascharges for tape that is never used by the customer.at the cost of 20$ .with at lease 10 job a day thats 200.00 for nothing, then they charge at lease a half an hour travel time to the customer which is legit ,but then they charge 35.00 additional for fuel surcharge ,and i see thats as charging twice for the same thing (travel/fuel ) same thing right. then this is the good part if the job happens to take over 8hr they charge you overtime, but they dont pay the field worker overtime is that fair .time and a half is what they charge if your already paying 120.00 an hour, now your paying 180.00 an hour .the workers in the field are first class,so if you decied to used this company ,tell office that you refuse to pay double fees or pay for somthing that may not be used or pay for overtime, and use the money saved to share with the ones who really do the work. or keep the saving to youself if the work wasent up to par. dont be fooled by the double talk these places like this are out to flease you wallets.,and at the same time flease the worker, god forbid that something should get broken ,because this company that is suppose to be insured and bonded ,charges the worker for actual cost and pays nothing is that fair or even legal,if there someone who knows i would appreciate if you would let me know.ive been moving funiture for a long time for alot of different companies ,and these guy in the office are some slick crooks more
