HI, \r I wasn't so fortunate, back in 2002 Lou Banos came into my house to do a demonstration of a filter, my ex was downstairs going over everything with him. I remember him telling us that we can try the system for a couple of days to see if we'd like. The same day, they were at the house installing everything so I sat down and talked everything over with my ex, than we called Lou Banos right back and told them that we didn't want the system installed at our place, so he said they were coming back on Monday to pick it up, because they did everything on a Saturday afternoon. They finally picked the system up on a Wednesday and charged us $2500.00 and now they have this on my credit and to make matters worst, they reported it twice.\r So I am screwed. All County Water Association use cold marketing to sell water filters that you don?t need in your area. They claim that if you don?t install their water filters then you will suffer and get sick from the city water, and they reason that all your health problems including spasms, aches, and other ailments are because of the polluted water you are getting from the city. They also sell junky filters and give dollar store quality boxes to fool you into believing they are giving you great value products. Their fraud strategies are very mean and unethical. I didn't see any difference in what they claimed between before and after installation of their water filter. Beside they suddenly changed my monthly bill to almost double which I never signed on such contract. They also claimed that their filters never need repair or cleaning, but later they sent some one to charge for cleaning their water filter. This is really very nasty way of striping money from me. The man who sold me the filter was calling me every day for one month trying to convince me to install the filter, wasted 4 hours of my time showing off his water kit in my kitchen, now I am calling him back to discuss so many problems I am having because of this filter but no one is answering any more. They spent days until they installed the filter but never bothered to provide after sales service, falsely claiming they didn?t hear from me even though I am contacting them on daily basis. Also I am having harassing calls and letters from the GE Bank Money and collection to pay for water filter and service that really doesn't worth its price, they violated the terms and used false seals, never replied to my numerous calls to fix the problem they put me in.\r \r I have been approached by them again to give me $25, makes no sense, I put this application in trash. GE Bank money and collection use dirty tricks to collect money from me on behalf of All County Water Association. Be ware of these fraud companies. Do not fill out their flyers. They put flyers on all the doors in my neighborhood. A bag which included a plastic bottle and a paper to fill out. Saying they are testing the water for our district. I asumed it was from the city. Asking us to fill the bottle with water from our sink and fill out the paper with our personal info. We were told to put the bag on the door to be picked up the next day. They dont even test the water from those little bottles! I filled out a sample and they called with the results (hardness 7, chlorine high). My water comes from a well and does not contain chlorine at all! This company is a FRAUD. Cons: THEY ARE LIERS AND A SCAM. more
