This sounds so familiar. I had a similar experience speaking to someone at that store over the phone. If he is the same person, he is not just the manager, he is the OWNER. We spoke on the phone and he yelled at me pretty much the whole time because I kept asking questions. He is arrogant, defensive, rude, an absolute nightmare for a retail and service business. He also tried to bully me in buying new pool equipment because mine is old. I almost brought them my pool sweep last year because it was not working right, we thought. Good thing I did not drop it off there, it would have been broken for sure. If you sustained damages to your equipment, you should report the incident to the BBB and to the Contractor's Licensing Board. By the way, they are not BBB accredited and there were complaints filed against them and one of them had to do with repairs.
