Worst

This hospital is very unethical when it comes to money. They lie and do extra work on your pet without asking if you agree to the cost.\r \r I will never go back.

all bay vet is a great place to take my animals. The doctors there are very gentle and are very professional.two thumbs up! My dogs have been going there since I moved here and all experiences have been great! more

Great vets! 9/2/2009

I volunteer with the Contra Costa SPCA and have taken numerous animals to All Bay for illness and routine vet care. My foster animals have been seen by Dr. Bedros and Dr. Lentz and I have found them both to be competent, caring doctors. The office staff are also caring and professional; I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a vet in the Concord area. Pros: Convenient hours (weekdays), professional staff Cons: Not open on weekends more

Friendly and efficient 5/19/2009

What a great hospital! The staff is friendly, the doctors very thorough, and their facility is bright, clean, and modern. The waiting room was packed but they quickly led me into an exam room where the nurse went through all the options to get my puppy up to date. Then the doctor came in and found a broken tooth that we will remove when they spay her next week. They are less expensive than my previous vet and they spent way more time with me and I felt like they really care. The doctor explained things that I wanted to know more about and never seemed like he was in a hurry. With the extra time they spent with me, I feel like I know more than I ever did about how to take good care of my puppy. I will recommend them to my friends or anybody that needs a good vet. more

Tainted Reviews! 5/15/2009

I just had to write to set things straight when I read those 2 negative reviews. I love this hospital and all that they do. I have been going there for years with all my pets and not once have I ever seen or recieved anything but exceptional care. All you have to do is go once to see that they truly do care. They always give an estimate and explain everything very thoroughly. If they find something unexpected while in their hospital, they call you and explain what they found and what it will cost to treat it. They let you make all the decisions and I have never felt pressured to do anything that I couldn't afford. Drs Lentz and Bedros have each been there for over 20 years and the rest of the staff have been there nearly as long. They are like a family and I love them dearly since they have helped to make my beloved pets lives long and enjoyable. I wish my own doctor would treat me and my family as well as they have. I hope this helps anyone reading this see around the bogus compaints the other people have given but I guarantee you that if you give them a try, you too will understand why I am so grateful for their always compassionate and professional services. Pros: Honest, thorough, professional Cons: not open 24 hours more

I am sorry, I took my pet to this Hospital. They lie about much it will actually cost to treat my cat's leg. And even when I told them that I was unemployeed they did extra dental work on my pet without asking me if I agree to pay, the worst part is that this was not the reason I took my pet to this horrible, unethical, money hungry hospital. Cons: They lie about cost more

I found a good Vet 11/26/2007

Staff very friendly and helpful. Doctors professional and explained all very thoroughly. Their hospital is clean and everyone seemed to care a lot. My dog has some serious problems that the vet was able to explain so I could understand what I need to do to keep him happy. His medication seems to have helped a lot. I would definately recommend this Vet Hospital to anyone who needs a vet. more

They just want your money 9/26/2006

I made the mistake of taking my turtle to All Bay. The clinic should have told me they do not treat reptiles, but they were more concerned with taking my money. They gave me wrong information, did not effectivly treat the injury, and when I confronted Dr. Lentz about this wrong information, he changed his story and refused to deal with the situation. They claimed that based on their assumtions about my financial concerns, they were trying to do me a favor. Insulting, considering that I never expressed financial worries, and in the long run they cost me much more money for providing services beyond their expertise. Pros: none Cons: they operate completely outside their area of expertise more
